Rani Mukerji recalled the tough time she had seen in her life, especially when she made her acting debut with the film, 'Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat'.
Rani Mukerji is a famous superstar, who changed the notion that 'actresses should have a certain height' to become big in Bollywood. She won hearts with her first film, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat. However, initially, she was criticised for her voice, and many advised her to dub it. Later on, she got famous for her husky soft voice that can be recognised at any given moment.
Rani completed 27 years in the film industry, and the gorgeousness recalled her journey so far. She shared a long statement, wherein she recalled her first film, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat. She added that her father, Ram Mukerji, who was a former film director, had an important heart surgery. Rani shared that he got discharged from the hospital when he saw her film in the theatres. She said:
"18th October 1996, when Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat released, my family and I were going through a lot then. It also takes me back to the fact that my father was having a very important heart surgery at that time and I remember him going to the theatre to watch my first film in Gaiety Galaxy."

Rani recalled that her father cried like a baby after seeing her first film. Recalling the exact moment, Rani shared:
"On his way back, he got discharged! I remember him weeping like a child in happiness after seeing the love I received from the audience when they clapped and whistled at my dialogues! That memory is something that will never leave me ever! His enthusiasm, his pride and his love for me are beyond what I can explain verbally!!. Finally, his daughter became a movie star, something that he never would have imagined for me."
Rani Mukerji made an appearance for a special event after her film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai completed 25 years. During the event, Rani thanked Karan for giving her the opportunity to do the film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and revealed that because of the film, she is a star. Rani also recalled that she did the film at the age of seventeen, and now her daughter, Adira is turning eight, just like her on-screen daughter (Sana Saeed). She was quoted as saying:
"I was 17 when I did this movie and today, my daughter's turning 8, just like Sana (Saeed) on-screen, just like my daughter. So, because of KKHH, I'm a star today. Thank you all of you for loving us for so many years and please continue this love for the next 25 years."
On the work front, Rani Mukerji was last seen in the film, Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway!
