This is also a place of reunion of old friends, and proof of the same is found in Rani Mukerji and Rupali Ganguly's glimpses from the Durga puja pandal. Both the bong beauties seemed to meet after a much-awaited time during the Bijaya Dasami celebration. Indeed, the glimpses of their fun-filled time are making every Bengali nostalgic, who would again have to wait for almost one year for Maa Durga to arrive on Earth with great joy and enthusiasm.

Rani Mukerji plays Sindoor Khela with Rupali Ganguly, and the duo cosily hugs each other

On Bijaya Dasami, in a few pictures and videos, Rani Mukerji was spotted reuniting with her friend from the industry, Rupali Ganguly, at the North Bombay Durga Puja. For the unversed, Bijaya Dasami marks the last day of the Durga Puja celebrations, wherein married women apply sindoor on each other and dance to the beats of dhol after bidding adieu to Maa Durga. Thus, Rani and Rupali were seen playing Sindoor Khela with each other and looked simply the happiest. Rupali was seen applying the red vermillion on Rani's face while the latter was talking non-stop with the former.

Afterwards, Rupali leaned towards Rani and hugged her. Initially, it seemed from Rani's expression that she thought the hug would be a small one. However, soon, she was seen hugging Rupali tightly, and the duo chatted without taking any break while being clicked.

In the latter part of the video shared by the paparazzi, Rani and Rupali were also seen dancing together. After sharing the long hug, the duo grooved on the beats of dhol and bells, along with their friends and family over there. Indeed, their happiness was clearly visible on their faces.

Rani Mukerji and Rupali Ganguli's look on Bijaya Dasami

For the Bijaya Dasami, Rani donned a beige and golden-hued silk saree. She tied it in a Bengali style and styled it with gold jewellery, including double-layered necklaces, pashas, bangles and traditional shakha polas (red and white bangles). Rani completed her look with a half-done hairdo adorned with a stunning hair accessory. On the other hand, Rupali wore a white and red saree paired with a red blouse with puffed sleeves. Rupali completed her look with gold jewellery and open tresses.
