According to the latest update, Deepika and Ranveer will pair-up as brand ambassadors for Lloyd- a brand by Havells India that makes air conditioners, LED TVs among others. The company wants to target young people who are in their late 20s and 30s as their consumers, ahead of the summer season that begins in April. Shashi Arora, chief executive officer, Lloyd Consumer Products, confirmed the news and said, “Both Ranveer and Deepika form a power couple and bring a lot of youthfulness around the brand. We want to signal a change and status quo around Lloyd and that is why we tied up with this couple."
On March 14, 2019, Deepika Padukone unveiled her wax statue at Madame Tussauds, London and shared glimpses from the same on her Instagram handle. Deepika was accompanied by the Bhavanis and Padukones, along with her husband Ranveer Singh, who couldn’t stop admiring the uncanny resemblance between Deepika and her statue. Ranveer shared some pictures from Madame Tussauds, wherein he is holding hands with ‘original’ Deepika as she posed like her statue and captioned his post as, "DP 2.0 Original toh mere paas hai. #twomuchtohandle". In one the videos that went viral from Madame Tussauds, London, Deepika Padukone asked her husband, Ranveer Singh about what he thinks of the statue. Admiring his ‘DP 2.0’, Ranveer replied, "Can I take it home?" Deepika laughed on it and responded, "Now when you're here shooting for '83 and miss me, come here." Here’s the video:
