From their pre-wedding functions and wedding to the airport captures, Deepika and Ranveer have been giving us ‘couple twinning’ goals ever since they went for Italy. And yet again, Deepika and Ranveer melted our hearts with their beautiful pictures from their visit to the Siddhivinayak Temple, Mumbai. The newly-weds, Deepika and Ranveer along with their parents, Prakash-Ujjala Padukone and Jugjeet Singh-Anju Bhavnani and their respective sisters, Anisha Padukone and Ritika Bhavnani visited the temple to seek the blessings from the God. Here are the pictures and video:
In a recent interview with Filmfare, Ranveer revealed the real reason behind choosing Lake Como, Italy as their wedding destination. Ranveer stated, “Whatever she wished, I wanted her to have it. That’s the first step in being the husband of the millennium. Whatever her vision of getting married, I wanted her to realise it. Whatever she wanted, it was done exactly in that manner. She deserves every bit of it. I too deserve happiness and my happiness comes from her happiness. It’s that simple.” Revealing the moment of realisation that Deepika is ‘the one’ for him, Ranveer remarked, “Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that almost immediately. I’m lucky to have her. I knew all too well that this is the woman I’m going to marry. This is the woman who would become the mother of my children. I’ve been thinking about marriage seriously for almost three years now. I was just waiting, I told her the minute you say so, we’ll do it.” (Also Read: Deepika-Ranveer Recreate Deewani Mastani Scene At Their Mumbai Reception But With A Surprise Element) Elaborating on the ‘right time’ of getting married, Ranveer was quoted as saying, “I believe when the feeling is right, it’s the right time. I’ve been feeling it’s right for a long time. This could have happened three years back as well. Now that she’s also feeling right about it, it’s perhaps the right time now. When two people feel right about it, it’s the right time.” When asked how much marriage will change him, Ranveer retorted, “Yes, things will be different, there’ll be demands on my time. Marriage takes some work and effort.” Further stating how Deepika has changed him as a person, Ranveer went on to say, "She is someone who demands authenticity of character. Her biggest influence is that she is a real person and demands that you also keep it real.” He also added, “She has anchored me. I could have got carried away with my name and fame. But she has grounded me. Before she had her blockbuster year, we’d already started dating, I’ve seen her deal with success and failure.” (Also Read: Ranveer Says He Married The Most Beautiful Girl In The World, This Is How Deepika Reacted) Are you excited for the biggest and dhamakedaar party of the year i.e. Deepika and Ranveer’s star-studded Mumbai wedding reception?ADVERTISEMENT
