Every family group is a ground for good morning messages to every desi upaay, and this, at times makes us laugh, while at times makes us crib. Every conversation on that group is hilarious in its own way because someone ends up being trolled or scolded. No matter how much we hate to be a part of this group on the social networking app, we still do not feel like leaving the conversation. Our celebrities are no different and have a family group as similar as ours. One such family group belongs to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had gotten married on November 14 and 15, 2018. The couple, who is always travelling due to their busy schedule, finally got the time to take a pause and spend their time together. Deepika and Ranveer are not just busy with each other but are also keeping their fans updated about their quarantine phase by being active on their respective Instagram handles, sharing some snippets from their life. Recently, in an interview with Film Companion’s Anupama Chopra, the Padmavati of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone, shared how and why husband, Ranveer Singh complains about her on their family WhatsApp group.
In an interview with the Film Companion’s Anupama Chopra, Deepika talked about life in quarantine with 'pati parmeshwar', Ranveer Singh. She talked about how she had sprained her back while doing some chores and still would not rest, and this made Ranveer complain about her on their family group. The actress said, “My mother always says it, Ranveer keeps saying it, ‘Can you sit in one place? Can you not have to do something all the time?’ And I don’t know. I am always up to something, my mind is always occupied. He calls it ‘phat-phat’ and then he complains on the family group.”
Deepika recalled an incidence when Ranveer had asked her to take rest and had made a surprise visit just to check on her. She said, “I sprained my back two days ago when I was ‘cleaning’. And then I was bored. So he made sure before he went down to the gym, he said ‘You’re not moving from here you’ve sprained your back’. And he made a surprise visit in 20 minutes and I was not in my bed I was up on a shelf, trying to clean something and he got really wild. ‘Can you not do this phat phat all the time? Can you sit in one place you have injured your back’.”
Earlier in a Hangout interview with the journalist, Rajeev Masand, Deepika had talked about how husband, Ranveer is the easiest person to live with during this Coronavirus lockdown. When Deepika Padukone was asked about her daily routine with husband, Ranveer Singh, she had said, “I have to say, he’s the easiest person to live with in this scenario. He’s sleeping for about 20 hours, which really allows me time to do things that I want to do.” She had further added, “For the four hours that he’s awake, we’re either watching a movie, eating, exercising. The actress, who has been on a cooking spree, making delicious delicacies for her darling husband had also talked about her wish to learn Indian cooking in the same interview and had said, “He never goes to the kitchen. I’m really good at western cooking and Italian and continental. I’ve always been scared of the cooker though. I want to learn Indian cooking in this time. I want to learn the difference between dhaniya, pudina and besan and atta.”
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had also made a donation to the PM Cares coronavirus relief fund recently. However, the couple did not reveal the amount. The couple took to their Instagram handles respectively to share about the same, and had captioned the picture as “In times like these, every bit counts. We humbly pledge to contribute to the PM-CARES FUND, and hope that you will too. We’re all in this together, and we shall overcome. Jai Hind”.
