Gully Boy is not just an underdog story of rags to riches but it's about the hip-hop scene in India which originated in the slums of Dharavi, and the music of the film is topping all the charts. Something similar happened when Ranveer Singh was in Udaipur recently at one of his friend's wedding. Yes, you guessed it right! Two videos of Ranveer from the wedding have surfaced online and in them, he is as enthusiastic as ever. Speaking of wedding and Ranveer's film, Gully Boy, we all know that Ranveer Singh got married to Deepika Padukone recently in November 2018. Deepika and Ranveer celebrated their first Valentine's Day post-marriage on February 14, 2019, and guess what? Deepika had planned to watch Ranveer's film, Gully Boy. She had said, “I think to watch the movie, #GullyBoy, and my parents are going to be in the town so I will spend the day with them.” And yes they did! In an interview, Deepika recently shared what were her feelings just after her wedding ceremony in Italy. She had said, "I think soon after the ceremony was done. The minute we held hands it was different. It was not like holding my boyfriend's hand; he's your man for life. Almost, instantly it happened."
Ranveer Singh recently appeared on Film Companion's Tape Cast alongside Karan Johar. Sharing how different Deepika is from him and changes in his routine post-marriage, Ranveer disclosed, "But she has a background of being a sports person and the core is attached to discipline. She is proper about her sleeping and eating habits. She makes sure she is calling me and telling me that ‘chalo ho gaya abhi come home and sleep’. She puts me to bed on time. She makes sure I sleep on time and wake up on time. I am getting into a healthy routine. All her positive influence are doing me well. I was prepared for it coz I was a bit of ayaash pehle. Now, I am becoming a good boy.”
Deepika Padukone was last seen in Padmvaat along with her hubby, Ranveer Singh. Ranveer's latest film Gully Boy has already minted Rs 72 crore approx in its first weekend. Deepika will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak.
