In an interview with Zoom TV, mehendi artist, Veena Nagda talked about one of the most memorable days of her life, when she had applied heena on the hands of Bollywood's queen, Deepika Padukone on her mehendi ceremony in Italy. The exceptionally talented artist praised he couple for the kind of respect and love they had showered on her and recalled a beautiful incident that had made both Deepika and Veena ji skip a heartbeat. The artist said, "Ranveer Ji had said that ek queen ko dusri queen mehndi lagari hai, wo bhi Italy me. Wah kya baat hai. One day ghumna bhi rakha tha." Veena ji also added that Deepika had kept her promise and had called her straight away for her mehendi. She said, "I had told Deepika Ji after Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani that aapki shadi ki mehndi me lagaungi. When she was in Italy, she had called me and said that I had promised you and have called you."
Back in 2018, pictures and videos of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone waving at their fans from the former's residence had gone viral all over social media in split seconds. The reason behind it was the intriguing detail in Ranveer's mehendi design which everyone had noticed while he was waving at the people surrounding his house.
