Ranveer Singh shared a cute little update about his and Deepika's 'baby Simmba'. He also talked about his daddy duties, proving he is acing his new role in real life.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are enjoying the best phase of their life, i.e., parenthood. The much-in-love couple met on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, wherein their love blossomed. They got married in 2018 and were tickled pink with joy as they welcomed their little one, a baby girl, on the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi. While the newbie parents are adapting to this new phase of life, and are yet to announce the name of their baby girl. Recently, Ranveer shared a cutesy update about his and Deepika's parenting routine, and it's adorable.
Ranveer Singh recently graced the trailer launch event of Singham Again. The newbie dad looked handsome in a black t-shirt, which he wore with a brown coat and black joggers. A ponytail, classy sunglasses, and a pair of boots added the final touch to his look. Well, murmurs were rife that Deepika might also join the trailer launch event of Singham Again and make her first public appearance after her baby girl's birth. In the end, the actress couldn't join the event, and Ranveer revealed the reason for it.
Addressing the audience at the trailer launch event of Singham Again, Ranveer shared that Deepika couldn't come as she is with the baby. He also cutely added that his baby duties are at night, which means Ranveer is a doting papa to his little princess. As soon as Ranveer gave this cute little update, the audience screamed and hooted for him. Ranveer can be heard saying:
"Deepika event par nhi aa pai woh baby ke sath hai or meri duty night hoti hai."
In the same conversation, Ranveer Singh revealed that everyone will get to see his and Deepika's 'Baby Simmba' in Singham Again, and tagged the film as the little one's debut, as during that time the actress was pregnant. The actor further wished everyone a happy Diwali from him, Deepika, and their little Simmba. In Ranveer's words:
"Along with all the stars you will see in the film, you will also see our baby Simmba making her debut because Deepika was pregnant while shooting for the film. I wish y’all a Happy Diwali on behalf of Lady Singham and baby Simmba."

It was on September 15, 2024, when Deepika Padukone was discharged from the hospital with her little one. Ahead of coming home with her little one, Deepika updated her IG bio, which featured how her life would revolve around her baby from now on. The one-liner Deepika used as a newbie mom was:
"Feed.Burp.Sleep.Repeat."
A few days ago, Ranveer Singh arrived at an event at Antilia. It was his first appearance after his baby's birth. Well, an excited Ranveer screamed as soon as he posed for the paps, and stated, "Baap ban gaya reh." Well, a day later, Deepika re-shared a funny reel, which featured a baby girl running towards the door with binoculars to look out for someone. The caption proved it was a reaction as Ranveer left her and baby home alone. The reel's caption was:
"Me when my husband tells me he will be home at 5:00, and it's now 5:01."
