Rashami Desai Opens Up About Her Plans To Marry Again, 'My Parents Are Trying Hard, But...'

In a recent interview, Rashami Desai shared that her parents want her to get married again and are looking for a prospective partner, but she believes something else. Here's what she said.

Rashami Desai is a well-known face on Indian television. She began her career by working in Assamese, Hindi, and Bhojpuri films before making her debut on TV in 2006. The actress has starred in popular TV shows like Pari Hoon Main, Uttaran, Dil Se Dil Tak, and reality shows like Bigg Boss 13, making a way into people's hearts. Despite the success in her career, Rashami Desai's love life always made headlines due to controveries. In a recent interview, the actress revealed if she wants to get married and what her plans are.

Rashami Desai reveals her parents are trying hard to get her married

Rashami Desai was earlier married to her co-star, Nandish Sandhu, from 2011-2016. After the separation, she was linked to a few more actors, but things never went as planned. But, in a new interview with IANS, Rashami Desai shared that her parents are actively trying to find a prospective groom for her. However, she prefers to believe that the right person to walk into her life. In her words: 

"Well, my parents are trying hard! But honestly, I believe the right person will come into my life at the right time."

In another recent interview with OneIndia, Rashami Desai hinted at her previous broken relationships and admitted that she doesn't know about her love. Consequently, those relationships have made her believe there is no ideal match for her. However, Rashami Desai is in no hurry to tie the knot and is ready to wait for the right person. She said: 

"I don't know about love, but I have dialled the wrong number many times. I think God has not made a boy for me. He has forgotten. My family is looking for a good relationship. If I find a good boy, I can get married. But there is no hurry."

Rashami Desai shared she thought of her ending her life after divorce from Nandish Sandhu 

In a previous conversation with Paras Chhabra on his YouTube Channel, Rashami Desai opened up about her past relationship with her former husband, Nandish Sandhu. She revealed that soon after the marriage, she realised it was a big mistake and decided to end it. However, she faced financial losses as she took out a loan of Rs 2.5 crores to buy a house and lost a lot. Also, her show ended suddenly, so Rashami began living in her car and working the day and night after the show ended. Recalling the struggle, she said: 

"Even my friends began to think I was difficult because I wasn't expressive and would withdraw into my shell. My family thought all my decisions were wrong. Although I managed to pay off my loan, the stress was overwhelming. I couldn't sleep and would work continuously. At that time, I started thinking, I would rather die."

Rashami Desai's love life 

Rashami Desai married her Uttaran co-star, Nandish Sandhu, 2011 in Ghaziabad. They began facing issues in their marriage in 2014 and separated. But, soon they reconciled and gave their marriage another chance before ending it in 2016. In 2018, the actress met actor, Arhaan Khan and dated her in the public eye, but on Bigg Boss 13, Salman Khan revealed that the actor was already married and had a kid. Rashami Desai didn't know about it, so they broke up. Later, she was rumoured to be dating her Bigg Boss 15 co-contestant, Umar Riaz, but they both quashed the rumours, claiming they were just friends.
