To love someone is a blessing, but one wrong move can take away your happiness. The person, who was the reason behind your happiness, becomes the reason behind your pain and gloomy days. Rashami and Nandish reel life love story turned into real-life on the sets of Uttaran. In the initial days of the show, the duo couldn't stand each other and would have constant fights, but later on, they fell in love only to get separated later. It was in the year 2016 when they had filed for divorce and they played the ugly blame game after parting ways. While Rashami called her marriage abusive, Nandish had denied all such allegations.
Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Rashami opened up on what went wrong in her relationship with Nandish. She stated that one should stop all the wrongs in their relationship because if they don’t, all the atrocities will not stop either. The actress said, "Because if you don’t stop it then and there it will happen again and again. Respect and believe in yourself that you are not doing anything wrong. I understood it later because I had a fear of losing a lot of people around me." (Also Read: Janhvi Kapoor Reacts On Constant Comparisons With Sridevi, Reveals If She'll Do Mom's Film's Remake)
Rashami further talked about Nandish, "I will not say ki humare beech me differences nahi the. We had a lot of differences, we had a lot of arguments, we had fights and somewhere we both didn’t realize that we were not compatible with each other. The way we used to be, the way we were together it is just not the same and we are different people together and we are trying to bring the devil out of each other. I said it and after six years after that happened, I took the divorce. Later, somewhere I realized that I was also dragging a lot."
In the same interview, Rashami also revealed that getting married to Nandish was completely her decision as they were in love. While it was a love marriage, they ended up having a divorce. It was a painful time for Rashami and she shared that she went through depression during that phase. She also stated that she never wanted to end her marriage and she did her best to save her relationship. However, after things didn't work out, she was the one who decided to go for it.
Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Rashami had talked about her tough marriage. She had stated, "This rough patch I went through in the past 6-7 years was really ugly. A lot of changes happened, and they are enough to make one go mentally weak. When you encounter such a relationship, your mindset changes drastically. What one needs at such a critical point of time is people, who are supportive and ready to help."
Talking about giving love another chance, Rashami had shared, "I am not one of those, who worry that things in the future, too, might end up the same way, as they did in the past. It’s all about giving yourself equal importance as the other person in a relationship. Fairytales ki kahaaniyan banaate hain life ke baare mein, let’s see what happens next."
