Rashmika Mandana opens up about injuring her leg during 

Rashmika Mandanna's role in Pushpa: The Rise marked a significant milestone in the actress' career. Her role as 'Srivalli' made her a national sensation. The role gave Rashmika much-deserved prominence, which took her from being a regional star to one of the most talked-about actresses. One of the highlights from the movie Pushpa: The Rise was the record-breaking song Saami Saami.

The song featured Rashmika’s energetic dance moves and effortlessly divine expressions, which left a lasting impression on the audience. Rashmika's hook step from the song became a viral social media trend. However, according to a report by News18, Rashmika suffered an injury during the shoot of Saami Saami. It was reported that the actress had sprained her ankle. They were quoted saying:

"While shooting for Saami Saami, Rashmika had suffered a minor sprain and despite that sprain she completed the shoot for the song. And it turned out to be one of the most iconic songs of the entertainment industry."

Rashmika Mandanna's emotional day at the set of Pushpa 2

Rashmika Mandanna recently shared about her last day at the sets of Pushpa 2. She took to her Instagram handle and shared an emotional note on her story. She penned her thoughts about her last day on the set and shared that out of the last 7-8 years, the past five years on the Pushpa set almost made the set feel like her home. She added that this wrap-up felt different even though there was still a threequel. She wrote:

“Out of the 7/8 years, the last 5 years being on this set almost made this set my home in the industry, and finally, it was my last day. Of course, there’s still so much work left and apparently a part 3, but it felt different, it felt overwhelming, it felt like it was ending."

Rashmika further added that she felt a kind of sadness that she couldn't process on her last day of the shoot. She revealed that all her emotions had come rushing down at her, and she was deeply moved by them. She also expressed her gratitude to Allu Arjun, director Sukumar, and everyone involved in the film's making. She concluded the note by sharing that she was tired and exhausted yet immensely grateful for the opportunity. In Rashmika's words:

“Some sort of sadness that even I didn’t understand, and suddenly all the emotions came together, and the days of extremely hard work came rushing back to me, and I was feeling tired and exhausted but at the same time so grateful."
