Apart from being a businessman, he was also an avid lover of furry friends. Not only this, the businessman has always been a big supporter of animal rights. Having said that, let us take you back to a time when Ratan Tata actually didn't attend an event arranged by King Charles for one of his dogs. King Charles arranged the event to bestow Ratan Tata with the Lifetime Achievement Award. However, the reason he didn't attend the event will make your heart swoon in seconds.

In a throwback interview with a YouTube channel, Business and brand consultant, Suhel Seth revealed why Ratan Tata didn't attend the event that King Charles organised for him to give him the Lifetime Achievement Award for philanthropy at Buckingham Palace. Suhel said that he reached London on February 2, 2018, or February 3, 2018. However, he was shocked to see that he got 11 missed calls from Ratan Tata. Later, when he called Ratan Tata back, he informed Suhel that he wouldn't be able to attend King Charles' event for him.
Speaking about the reason for Rata Tata not being able to join the Lifetime Achievement Award, Suhel Seth said Ratan Tata had told him that one of his dogs, Tito, had fallen sick. Suhel said Ratan Tata said that he couldn't leave his dog like this. Further, Suhel Seth stated that he was shocked about the same incident, and later, when he let King Charles know about the whole incident, he said:
"That’s a man. That’s the man Ratan is. That’s why the house of Tata is what it is. That’s why it’s on stable course."

There's no denying the fact that Ratan Tata's love for the furbabies has been leaving everyone in awe, and he is truly an inspiration. However, although everyone is familiar with Ratan Tata's love for dogs, very few people know that he has a special kennel built for stray dogs at the Global headquarters of Tata Group in Mumbai.
Ratan Tata's IG handle is filled with adorable posts of furbabies. It was back in 2019 when Ratan Tata dropped an adorable post with one of his many furbabies, Tito, on the latter's 14th birth anniversary. Sharing a beautiful photo of him with Tito, Ratan Tata penned:
"Today would be the 14th birthday of my late dog, Tito. I still come home to two kind souls and meet so many others in and around the office. While few have the comfort of families, many struggle on the streets, and yet somehow, their affection remains the same. Those of you who strive for the welfare of the voiceless, truly have my respect."
