Simi Garewal, who shared a deep bond with Ratan Tata, penned a heart-wrenching note as she bids him a goodbye note.
Ratan Tata's sudden death news, sent shockwaves in the entire nation. While the entire nation is preparing for the Durga Puja, they lost Maa Durga's tiger — Shri Ratan Tata, at the age of 86. With his work, and in order to bring change, Ratan Tata has touched millions of souls. As the entire nation mourn his loss, Simi Garewal, his old friend and lover, penned a heart-wrenching note for him.
As soon as the news of Rata Tata's demise, spread like a forest fire, people started pouring in their goodbyes. It was Simi Garewal, who took to her social media account, X, and penned a note for her friend with whom she had a deep history. She gave her friend, 'a farewell', and wrote:
"They say you have gone .. It's too hard to bear your loss..too hard.. Farewell my friend..#RatanTata."
In a 2011 interview with The Times of India, Simi was questioned about her involvement with Ratan Tata and whether power turns her on. Simi clearly accepted that she and Mr Tata share a history. She heaped praises on him, and said:
"Ratan and I go back a long way. He’s perfection, he’s got a sense of humour, is modest and the perfect gentleman. Money was never his driving force. He’s not as relaxed in India as he is abroad."
At the start of this week, murmurs of Ratan Tata's health being critical made rounds on the internet, but he dismissed the claims and stated that it was just a routine medical investigation due to his age-related conditions. He even urged people not to spread misinformation regarding his health.
With his one statement, many of his fans sighed in relief, only to get the news of his demise on October 10, 2024. At the age of 86, Ratan Tata passed away in Mumbai's hospital. According to reports, he was undergoing treatment for a critical condition and was in the ICU.
It was RPG chairman's emotional note, announcing the demise of Ratan Tata that left shockwaves in the entire country. In his tweet on X, he wrote:
"The clock has stopped ticking. The Titan passes away. #RatanTata was a beacon of integrity, ethical leadership and philanthropy, who has imprinted an indelible mark on the world of business and beyond. He will forever soar high in our memories. R.I.P."
Ratan Tata was truly a gem of a person!
