Bollywood actress, Raveena Tandon recalled shooting the song, 'Tip Tip Barsa Paani' with Akshay Kumar and revealed how she got injured.
Raveena Tandon is one of the most beautiful actresses of her generation. The diva had created a steer in the Hindi film industry with her jaw-dropping looks and exceptional acting skills in the 90s. And even now, she continues to rule over millions of hearts. Her onscreen and offscreen chemistry with actor, Akshay Kumar was the hot topic of that time. And the most popular song, Tip Tip Barsa Paani, from the film, Mohra was a testament to their sizzling chemistry. Now, Raveena recalled the shooting for the melodious track and revealed some lesser-known anecdotes about the same.
The recent episode of the dance reality show, India's Best Dancer season 3 will see the presence of Bollywood actress, Raveena Tandon. The episode titled, Dance Diva Special, will witness some power-packed performances from the contestants, one of them being Shivanshu Soni's performance on the song, Tip Tip Barsa Paani. Being mesmerised by his performance, Raveena recalled the shooting of the song. Talking about the same, she revealed that she and Akshay shot the song at a construction siet and it was quite uncomfortable for them. In her words:
"We were shooting at a construction, and I was barefoot, surrounded by by nails that were causing discomfort."

Raveena further added that during the filming of the song, her knees got cut because of the nails and she had to take tetanus injections. Talking about the glamour one sees on the screen, the actress revealed that she got drenched in the rain during the shoot and fell ill. Raveena also stated that there are several untold stories behind the scenes, but they concealed them and endured everything. Elaborating more on the struggles of the artists, Raveena said:
"I was dressed in a saree, and the movements that Rekha Ji and Chinni Ji were executing, as well as the assistance they provided while wearing knee pads, left me with knee cuts when I returned home. I had to take tetanus injections, and two days later, I fell ill due to the exposure to rain. The glamour you see on screen conceals the untold stories behind the scenes. During rehearsals, injuries are commonplace, yet we all endure them."
September 9, 2023, marked the 56th birthday of Akshay Kumar and to make the day even more special, the actor announced his next film, Welcome 3. Taking to his IG handle, he dropped a video, however, it was the presence of Raveena in the clip that caught our attention. Well, the actor is all set to share the screen with his ex-fiancee after 19 years and it is indeed going to be a celebration time for their fans.

For the unversed, Raveena and Akshay met for the first time in 1994 on the sets of their film, Mohra. Soon, the duo fell in love with each and even got secretly engaged. However, destiny had other plans as they parted ways after Akshay allegedly cheated on Raveena. Earlier, in an interview with the ETimes, Raveena had talked about her equation with Akshay and revealed that they are still friends. In her words:
"Akshay and I are still friends. You need to respect it and move on. I think of him very highly. I think he is one of the strongest pillars of our industry."
