Ravindra Jadeja's father once made serious allegations against him and his wife, Rivaba, and the cricketer reacted strongly to them.
Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja, popularly known as Ravindra Jadeja, is one of India’s most loved and respected cricketers. The all-rounder is the fifth-fastest player in the world of cricket. Ravindra is one of the most bankable players in Indian cricket, and his fans hail him as ‘Jaddu’ and ‘Sir Jadeja.'
Ravindra is leading the headlines as the cricketer recently announced his retirement from T20 internationals. He is the third senior cricketer to announce his retirement after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 after Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Taking to his social media handle, the dynamic cricketer wrote:
“With a heart full of gratitude, I bid farewell to T20 internationals. Like a steadfast horse galloping with pride, I’ve always given my best for my country and will continue to do so in other formats. Winning the T20 World Cup was a dream come true, a pinnacle of my T20 International career. Thank you for the memories, the cheers, and the unwavering support.”

Talking about his personal life, Ravindra Jadeja is married to Rivaba Jadeja, who is a politician. Ravindra and Rivaba are also blessed with a beautiful daughter, Nidhyana Jadeja. Sometime back, Ravindra’s father laid serious allegations against him, and the cricketer reacted to the same. Let us know what went wrong between Ravindra and his father.
The whole fiasco began when Ravindra Jadeja’s father, Anirudhsinh, talked about his relationship with his son and said he had absolutely no ties with him. Speaking to Divya Bhaskar, Anirudh Jadeja shared that problems started cropping up in the family after Ravindra's marriage.

The father also stated that despite living in Jamnagar, the cricketer lives in a separate bungalow with his wife and daughter. On the other hand, Anirudhsinh lives alone and is dependent on his wife’s pension of Rs. 20,000. In his words:
“Do you want me to tell you one truth? I have absolutely no relation with Ravindra and his wife, Rivaba. We don't call them, and they don't call us. The issues started after two or three months of their marriage. I currently live alone in Jamnagar, while Ravindra resides in a separate bungalow of his own. He lives in the same city, but I don't get to see him. I don't know what magic his wife has done on him."
Going further in the interview, Ravindra’s father stated that the whole fiasco was created by Ravindra’s wife, Rivaba. Sharing details about the same, he stated that as soon as Ravindra got married to Rivaba, she asked his family to transfer everything to her name as she didn’t want any sort of interference from Ravindra’s family.
Ravindra’s father also stated that the cricketer’s family hadn’t seen their granddaughter in five years, and everything is managed by Ravindra’s in-laws. Elaborating on the same, he stated:
“I could be wrong, and Naynaba (Ravindra's sister) could be wrong, but you tell me, how can all 50 members of our family be wrong? There's no relation with anyone in the family; there's just hate. I don't want to hide anything. We haven't even seen the face of our granddaughter in five years. Ravindra's in-laws manage everything. They interfere in everything. They are making merry now because they have got a bank."

As soon as Anirudhsinh’s interview was shared on social media, Ravindra reacted to the allegations levied by his father. Taking to his social media handle, Ravindra called the interview scripted and claimed that it was merely an attempt to tarnish the reputation of his wife, Rivaba. Ravindra’s note can be read as:
“All the things said in the nonsense interview given to Divyabhaskar are meaningless and untrue. It is said on one side. Which I reject. The attempts made to tarnish the image of my godmother are truly reprehensible and unbecoming. I also have a lot to say which is fine as long as I don't say it publicly. Thank you."
