Triptii Dimri is rising high in her professional front, the actress won hearts with her acting mettle in the films, Qala and Bulbbul. Her short and impactful role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal brought her immense fame and recognition. She was hailed as 'Bhabhi No. 2' and was tagged as the new national crush. Triptii recently landed in a soup as she skipped an event in Jaipur by the Women Entrepreneurs of FICCI FLO. Triptii reportedly charged Rs. 5.5 lakhs for the event but failed to attend it.
The organisers of the Jaipur event were extremely angry at Triptii for skipping the event, especially after charging Rs. 5 lakhs. They painted her face black and even urged people to boycott the actress and her films. Triptii's team denied that she was invited for the event, but a video of the actress went viral where she herself advertised about the event and promised to be present there. Now, a report by Indiatimes revealed the real reason why Triptii skipped the event.
As per the report, Triptii was seen walking the ramp along with her Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 co-star, Kartik Aaryan, for ‘Namo Bharat—Walk for courage, Walk for service, and Walk for Heritage’ at the same time as the women's empowerment event. The ramp walk event and the Jaipur event timings clashed, and the actress decided to prioritise the Namo Bharat initiative and promote her upcoming film.
After masses called out Triptii for skipping the event, her spokesperson, through an official statement, revealed that the actress hadn't undertaken any professional commitment that would require her to make a special appearance at events. As per the official statement, the actress is fully dedicated to promoting her upcoming film, and she has not even taken any advance payments, which was alleged upon her before. Triptii's official statement reads:
"During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully honoured her professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film. Notably, she did not participate or commit to participate in any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties. It’s important to clarify that no additional fees or payments were accepted for her involvement in these activities.”
Tripti's upcoming movie is titled as Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, where Tripti will be seen sharing screen space with Rajkumar Rao, Mallika Sherawat, Archana Puran Singh, and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles. Triptii will be next seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 alongside Kartik Aaryan.
