Rehaan is currently in love with Kolkata-based Bengali actress, Jasmine Roy. The actor spilled the details of his relationship to Bombay Times. He said, “Jasmine was my co-star in a Bengali show and we hit it off instantly. People around us assumed us to be a couple, but we were just friends back then. It’s only after I came back to Mumbai that I started missing her. However, I could not express my feelings, as she was already dating someone at that time. Unfortunately, that relationship wasn’t meant to be, and we realised that we have a special connection. I proposed to her and I am glad that she accepted my love.”
On February 16, 2019, Rehaan took to his Instagram handle and shared an adorable picture with Jasmine. Along with it, he penned down his feelings, and wrote, “Thank you @jasmineroyofficial for making me a part of your life”, followed by heart emojis. When he was further asked about whether marriage is on cards, Rehaan stated, “We are committed to each other, but marriage will have to wait, as both of us are busy with our respective careers. We are also exploring each other at present and need to give our relationship some time before we decide to take the next step. Friendship is the backbone of our relationship. We understand each other very well. What I also like about Jasmine the most is her straightforwardness. She is also my critic and can be blunt sometimes. I am in love with my best friend.”
Further Jasmine also talked about how she fell in love with Rehaan as he became the prince with shining armor. She said, “Rehaan entered my life like a bright sunny day when I was fighting my darkest nights. It’s a blessing when you find love in your best friend. We have been friends for more than four years. I don’t want to ponder about the past or worry about the future. As of now, we want to give our 100 percent to our present and I am sure that the future will be better than we have imagined.”
