On December 5, 2023, the makers of the much-awaited film, The Archies, hosted a grand premiere, which was attended by popular faces from Bollywood. However, it was the presence of the veteran actress, Rekha that caught everyone's attention. Moreover, Rekha set the red carpet on fire as she made a stunning entry at Amitabh Bachchan's grandson, Agastya Nanda's debut film's premiere night. For the event, the diva opted for a beautiful light green-coloured silk saree.

Rekha's saree featured intricate gota work on the borders. She styled her saree with a matching full-sleeved blouse. Rekha oozed elegance as she accentuated her look with a pair of statement earrings. She completed her look with bold red lipstick, shimmery eyeshadow, a bindi, a sindoor-adorned hairdo and a tiny potli bag. Indeed, it was a rare moment when Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan came under the same roof.
Agastya Nanda's debut film's premiere was indeed an important moment for the entire Bachchan family. And they made sure to attend the event and shower their love on the debutant. Amitabh Bachchan along with his wife, Jaya, son, Abhishek, bahu, Aishwarya and poti, Aaradhya graced the event. For the premiere night, the entire Bachchan family twinned in black-coloured ensembles and looked equally stunning in their respective outfits.

Once, Rekha marked her gracious presence at Simi Garewal's chat show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal. During her appearance, she talked about her life, career and more. However, it was her confession about being in love with Amitabh Bachchan that caught our attention. During the conversation, when Simi asked Rekha if she was in love with Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha said that it was a 'dumb question'. Elaborating more about it, she said:
"Absolutely! Duh, that's a dumb question! I'm yet to come across a man, woman, child, who can't help but fall completely, passionately, insanely, desperately and especially, hopelessly, in love with him. So why should I be singled out? You want to know the truth? There was never a personal connection with him. That's the truth. What do I deny? I'm not in love with him? Of course, I am. Duniya bhar ka love aap le lijiyega and add some more - I feel that for that person. Bottomline."
