Rekha finally revealed whom she loves the most on Kapil Sharma's show, and she stated that if love is true, one time is enough.
Rekha is the most gorgeous woman in the film industry. At seventy, she still has the capacity to captivate the hearts of millions. Recently, she appeared on Kapil Sharma's show as a special guest and shared quite a few details about her life. She even made a rare comment on her ex-flame, Amitabh Bachchan. We got another anecdote from the episode, wherein Rekha talked about romantic love and how one time is enough.
During the show, Rekha talked about her career, acting and a lot of fun anecdotes. When Kapil asked her thoughts on love. To this, Rekha quickly responded that if one's love is true, then falling in love with one person is enough. It all started when Kapil joked that the poets had confused him about love as one says love happens many times, another one says it has no age. Rekha said:
"Mere khayal se agar sahi aadmi ho toh ek hi baar kaafi hai! Kitne baar, kitne aadmi karenge?"
Rekha further added that according to her experience, she loves everyone, from her friends to her work, but one thing she loves the most is herself. Rekha was quoted as saying:
"Mera tazurba ye hai… main apni baat kar sakti hoon… sabse pehle toh main sab cheez se pyaar karti hoon. Kaam se, mere doston se, duniya se, nature se… lekin sabse zyaada main pyaar karti hoon khud se."
During another segment, a fan asked Rekha about her iconic song, 'O Sheronwali' from the superhit film, Suhaag, which also featured Amitabh Bachchan. In the song, Rekha was playing dandiya in a temple. The fan asked her how she was able to pull the dandiya scene. Being a South Indian, it seemed like she was born a Guajrati as she nailed the dance moves. However, Rekha, instead of absorbing the praise, started heaping praises on Amitabh Bachchan, but she made sure not to mention his name.
Rekha stated that she had to give her best as the person in front of her was an amazing man. She added that when you have to dance opposite such a charming man, your body starts dancing in auto-mode. She was quoted as saying:
"Ye sochiye ke jinke saath main Dhandiya khel rahi thi, wo kya shaks hai. Acha nahi khelungi toh kya karungi? Dandiya aati ya na aati ho, saamna aise aadmi-shaqs aa jaata hai toh khud hi har angh angh theedakne lagta hai."
