Veteran actress, Rekha once asked popular journalist, Rajeev Masand to scrape an entire interview for 'this' reason.
Rekha is one of the most iconic actresses of all time. When she was just one year old, the veteran actress started her career as a child actress in the Telugu film, Inti Guttu. A few years later, she debuted as the leading actress in the movie, Operation Jackpot Nalli CID 999, released in 1969. Over the years, Rekha has been embroiled in many controversies, but has rarely spoken about them. In similar lines, Rajeev Masand shared an anecdote where Rekha did not want him to release her interview.
In a recent podcast with Shaardulogy, Rajeev Masand shared that he did an interview with Rekha a few years back. The actress did the whole interview but, in the end, requested Rajeev to scrape it. She did not like the interview and promised Rajeev that they would do it again.

Rajeev Masand defended Rekha and said that she wanted the interview to be perfect as she rarely gives interviews. Rekha has been professional throughout, and maybe she did not like how the interview turned out to be. Rajeev further added:
"If you are not liking the way you are looking or sounding, I understand you want to be in control. They are all in the pursuit of perfection."
In the same interview, Rajeev revealed a captivating incident from Shahid Kapoor's early career days. During one of his first interviews in 2003, around the release of Ishq Vishk, the actor's dissatisfaction with his performance led to a re-recording of an interview. Shahid gave the interview and then asked if he could see it. He did not like the end result and requested Rajeev to reshoot it.
