Popular Marathi actress, Reshma Shinde has started a new chapter in her life. She got married to her love, Pavan, on November 29, 2024. The preparations for her wedding ceremony were in full swing for a couple of days. The actress posted dreamy pictures from her wedding a while back, and you would not be able to stop yourself from scrolling.
Reshama shared an array of pictures from her Maharashtrian wedding with Pavan. The pictures stood out as she wore a golden Brahmani nath, gold beaded necklaces with golden earrings. It also looked like she wore a Kolhapuri Saaj necklace, which Maharashtrian women wear on wedding occasions. The pictures were too cute to miss, as in one, Reshma was seen taking pheras. She also gave Pavan a tight hug and was also seen applying tilak on his forehead. Reshma penned a caption in Marathi, which if loosely translated to English read, "New beginnings of life".
Reshma had her haldi ceremony yesterday, November 28, 2024. She posted an array of pictures showing her and Pavan twinned in orange. For the first time, through her haldi snaps, Reshma gave a sneak peek and revealed her husband's face. The Rang Maza actress wore an orange-hued lehenga with a green dupatta. Pavan also looked dapper in an orange kurta that he teamed up with white pyjamas. It looked like her ceremony had taken place in a big ground. This was because it was decorated with yellow flowers in the background. For the unversed, the Marathi version of the haldi ceremony is known as Halad Chadavane. As a part of the ritual, after Reshman and Pavan were applied the haldi, they were given a holy bath with sacred water.
Before sharing pictures of her haldi ceremony, Reshma posted snaps from her mehendi ceremony on her Instagram handle. She looked radiant in a green-hued sleeveless anarkali with embroidery overall and golden polka dots. She completed her look with a gold necklace, golden earrings and kept her tresses open. Her mehendi had traditional Indian design and Reshma inked the word 'U' in her mehendi, while Pavan inked 'S'. Together the initials of their mehendi read as 'Us' and she captioned it as, "My mehendi". Reshma's fans loved her mehendi look and called it beautiful. Her well-wishers also blessed and congratulated the couple.
The actress began her career with Bandh Reshmache back in 2011, which used to air on Star Pravah. She was then seen in many other shows like Vivah Bandhan, Kesari Nandan, Rang Maza Vegla, Gharoghari Matichya Chuli and many more. Her most famous work is in the show, Rang Maza Vegla, where she was best known to play Deepa. Reshma had also taken part in the Marathi reality show named Maharashtra Superstar. She also made her guest appearance in Chahul, Kesari Nandan, Lagori Maitri Return, and Nanda Saukhya Bhare.
