According to a report in Republic TV, a man named Surjeet Singh Rathore had accompanied Rhea Chakraborty to the morgue on June 15 and revealed her reaction on seeing the mortal remains of Sushant. He revealed that on seeing Sushant’s body, Rhea had said, ‘Sorry Babu’. He further revealed that Rhea’s brother, Showik Chakraborty and her mom had also wished to see Sushant’s body. However, Mumbai police did not let them go. In his words, “I removed the white cloth from the body's face and he had marks on his neck- I had doubt at that time itself. The moment I removed the cloth, Rhea placed her hand on his (Sushant's) chest and said 'Sorry, babu'. I thought, ' Why was she saying sorry now?' I then took her outside as she started crying.”
Of late, WhatsApp conversation between Rhea Chakraborty and filmmaker, Mahesh Bhatt are making the headlines. The conversation between them had unveiled the fact that Mahesh Bhatt was well aware of anything and everything that was going on in Rhea and Sushant's relationship. The WhatsApp conversation had also thrown light at the fact that Bhatt had influenced Rhea into not continuing her relationship with Sushant. In fact, he had advised Rhea against it, and it also seemed that it was Mahesh Bhatt's influence that had led to Rhea and Sushant's plausible breakup.
According to a snapshot of the chat available with Times Now, Rhea had messaged to Bhatt and had said, "Aisha moves on..sir..with a heavy heart and sense of relief." Aisha was the character Rhea portrayed in 2018 film, Jalebi, co-produced by Mahesh Bhatt. In the next message, Rhea had written, "Our last call was a wake up call." And the next message could be read as "You are my angel You were then And you are now." In two separate messages, Bhatt had replied, "Dont look back. Make it possible what is inevitable", and "My love to your father. He will be a happy man." Rhea had then written, "Have found some courage, and what you said about my dad tht day on the phone pushed me to be strong for him. He sends you love and thanks you for always being so special." To this, Bhatt had replied, "You are my child. I feel light". Rhea had then said, "Aaaah no words sir. The best emotions i feel i feel for u." Bhatt had replied her by saying, "Thank u for being brave."
Further, in separate messages, Rhea had stated, "Thank you destiny that I met you"; "You are right", "Our path met for this day"; and "Not for a film, but something very different, every word you have said to me Echoes in me and feel a deep impact of your unconditional love". The conversation on WhatsApp had gone on, with Rhea writing, "I love you my best man", and "Will make you proud". Bhatt had replied, with emojis of folded hands, "You have. Truly.
