Richa Chadha and her husband, Ali Fazal, are living the most beautiful phase of their lives as they are all set to embrace parenthood for the first time. The much-in-love couple delighted their fans with the announcement of their good news and left everyone surprised. For the unversed, Richa and Ali got secretly married in 2020. After 2 years of marital bliss, they celebrated their union with their family and friends in 2022.
On February 9, 2024, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal shared a collaborative post on their respective IG handles and announced that they are expecting their first child. The duo dropped two pictures to share their good news with their fans and left everyone ecstatic. The first picture had "1 + 1= 3" written on it, while the second was an adorable photo of the duo. Richa and Ali were seen lost in each other's eyes as the lens clicked them.

From being madly in love with each other to supporting one another in their respective careers, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha never skip a chance to give people major couple goals. Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha's filmy love story kick-started back in 2012. For the unversed, Ali and Richa had met each other on the sets of their film, Fukrey, for the first time. Over the course of the film's shooting, Richa and Ali had spent a lot of time in each other's company. If reports are to be believed, by the end of Fukrey's wrap-up, the two actors were very much in love with each other. After this, they started appearing together at public events, and soon, they made their relationship official by dropping their mushy pictures on social media. After dating each other for all these years, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal became each other's forever on October 6, 2022.

On September 29, 2022, Richa and Ali took to their respective Instagram handles and dropped a voice note in a collaborative post. Sharing the note, the much-in-love couple revealed that they got married in 2020 but couldn't celebrate their union because of the pandemic. The lovebirds also mentioned that they waited two years to formalise their union with their family and friends. The voice note could be heard as:
"Two years ago, we formalised our union, and just then the pandemic hit us all. Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies one after the other."
