Richa Chadha, who welcomed her daughter, around two-months-ago shared that her daughter is now the boss at home, and she and her husband, Ali Fazal, work around her schedule.
Richa Chadha is one of the recent actresses who embraced motherhood in Bollywood. She is known for her acting prowess, work ethic and unfiltered nature. The actress got married to the love of her life, actor, Ali Fazal, in 2022 in an eco-friendly wedding ceremony in Lucknow. Also known as one of the most loved celebrity couples in Bollywood, Richa and Ali welcomed their baby girl on July 16, 2024. The couple hasn't revealed their daughter's name or picture yet. But, since becoming parents, they have been busy adapting to the new phase of their life and taking care of their little girl. In a new interview, Richa shared how her life has changed after welcoming their baby girl and how she has been recovering in her postpartum phase.
Motherhood is one of the most important phases in a woman's life and a role that lasts forever. After beginning this journey, Richa has maintained a low profile and occasionally shares posts on social media. She recently sat down for an interview with the Hindustan Times and shed light on how her little one is now the boss at home. The actress added that her little one has become the centre of her and her husband, Ali's life. She was quoted as saying:
"We have a 4kg boss at home and we work as per her timelines."
Richa went on to mention that everything happening after the birth of her daughter seems new to her. The actress said this phase has some struggles and benefits, like more sleep but fatigue. However, she feels better about realising how a new life emerges from a woman. In her words:
"Everything about this phase of life feels new. It comes with its share of highs, like getting eight hours of sleep and lows, like fatigue and brain fog. But I find solace in knowing that everyone has come from a woman."
Since it has been just two months after giving birth to her daughter, Richa is dealing with multiple changes in her life and health at the same time. In the same interview, she shared that she has been experiencing many physical and emotional changes. However, her instincts have improved, and she is recovering. At the same time, she said that she had begun work on her production online and would resume her acting work in November. She said:
"The changes are too many — both physical and emotional — but I find my instinct to be sharper now. I am in the nesting and recovery phase, though work on my productions has started from home (online)."
