Despite being a part of the filmy family, Riddhima never ventured into acting and continued to stay away from the media glares. However, her daughter, Samara, has a different take on popularity, as she wants to explore the world of social media.
Recently, we got hold of a video of Riddhima Kapoor, in which she revealed her reservation about her daughter, Samara, being on social media. She shared that she knows that when her daughter will read the comments, she would be affected by them. Riddhima added:
"She wants to be on social media, I don't want her to be. To be very honest, I want her off social media, but like I told her, if you still want to continue with your account, you can't.... you learn not to be affected by it, and you can't keep reading all the comments."
Riddhima Kapoor further expressed her worries towards the comments that her daughter receives on social media. She also added that any random person feels free to comment on a social media post, especially house helps. In Riddhima's words:
"People will write all sorts of things. She wants to be on social media, koi bhi kuchh bhi likh raha hai kahi bhi baith ke. Maybe the househelp is writing it, who knows."
Soon after the video was shared online, netizens were quick to react to it. They were miffed by the fact that Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, was looking down upon the househelps and considering them as lower citizens. A user penned, "Eska matlab househelp ko tum log pakka subhumans ki tarah treat karte hoge. Khud hi expose kardia apne aap ko." Another one commented, "That's what they wanted. Also the house help thing shows they treat them badly so she thinks house help is taking revenge."
