At Aadar Jain's wedding, Riddhima Kapoor's daughter, Samara's video went viral, as netizens assumed she might have pushed her 'nani', Neetu, out of the frame. Now, Riddhima broke the silence about the same.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni's daughter, Samara is a well-known face on social media. Well, since the last few days, she has been making headlines. Samara, along with her mom and nani, Neetu Kapoor joined Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani's wedding. Moreover, a clip from the event made rounds on social media, and gossip began instantly as people felt that the little one tried to push her nani, Neetu, out of the frame when they were all posing for the paps. Recently, Riddhima broke her silence about the same.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni recently sat for an interview with the Hindustan Times, wherein she was asked about the viral video of Samara. She clarified that the incident was blown out of proportion, and there was nothing like her daughter was upset about Neetu Kapoor coming into the frame, nor did she push her. She shared that Samara was just trying to pose, and was very excited about the photographers being there at the event. Riddhima recalled her daughter saying that she would pose in front of the paps. Riddhima remarked that the photographers were asking them to come together, and Samara wanted to pose on her own, and she didn't push her nani. In Riddhima's words:
"The poor child was only trying to pose. She wasn’t upset. She was very excited, so much so that in the car she kept saying, ‘Oh my God, I’m sure there are gonna be photographers and I’m gonna pose like this and that’. And because the paparazzi were asking us to come together, she just wanted to pose on her own. She didn’t push her nani.”
Going further in the interview, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared her daughter, Samara's reaction to the online speculations that were caused by the viral video. She said that the gossip that is now around has left her daughter, Samara confused too. Revealing how the little one reacted, Riddhima said that her daughter questioned when she even pushed her nani. Samara also said that she was just trying to pose by herself and she never pushed anyone. Riddhima recalled Samara saying:
"‘When did I push her? I was trying to pose myself. I was just trying to extend my arm and get comfortable. I was posing. I never pushed anyone'."
In the same conversation, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni revealed that Samara also pointed out how earlier when a video of her went viral, her goofiness raised eyebrows, and this time, when she even didn't do anything, then too it sparked gossip around. Riddhima stated that today's kids are very aware of these things, and this is roughly because of the exposure. She also added that she and Neetu Kapoor talk to Samara every day about this and the various effects of it, so that it doesn't affect her.
Earlier, in an interview, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared that she doesn't want her daughter to be on social media, but the little one wants to be there. Riddhima further added that she has advised her daughter to stop reading comments if she is on social media, as people say whatever they want, so her daughter needs to learn not to be affected by the comments. Riddhima also expressed her worries about whether her house help was also one of the trollers. Well, it didn't go down well with the netizens and they trolled Riddhima for demeaning her house help.
