Riddhima Kapoor Sahni faces public wrath for not posting a picture with Alia Bhatt. Netizens compare her to Shweta Bachchan.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who likes to keep her personal life private and celebrations hush-hush, was trolled massively for not posting a picture with Alia Bhatt from their New Year's celebration.. The entire Kapoor family gathered together to celebrate the New Year. Alia Bhatt's mother, Soni Razdan, also joined them. However, Riddhima received a lot of hate for posting a blurry picture and not one photo of Alia Bhatt, but she quickly fixed her mistake.
On New Year's, like everyone else, Riddhima also shared glimpses of her celebration with her family in Thailand. She posted a carousel of her celebrations, which included her husband, Bharat Sahni, her daughter, Samara, and the rest of her Kapoor family. In the first photo, the entire Kapoor family was seen posing for a family picture. We could see Ranbir holding Raha in his arms, but only a side shot of Alia was visible and it wasn't clear.
After this, Riddhima shared with her entire family, but Alia Bhatt was nowhere to be seen. Riddhima even posted a photo with Alia's mother, Soni Razdan. This left netizens wondering why Riddhima didn't post any photos with her sister-in-law.
As soon as the photos were shared, one user wrote, "2nd Shweta Bachchan." Another one commented, "Why didn't she get snapped from alia?" A third user wrote, "Are you serious? No pic with Alu." Some even came to Riddhima's rescue and commented, "Hater focusing no pic with Alia." However, Riddhima quickly fixed a mistake, and shared a photo with Alia. Along with it, she wrote:
"This is us. Family first."
Last year, Riddhima and her husband, Bharat, sat for an interview with Galatta India and spilt beans about their life so far. During one of the segments, Riddhima was asked about her relationship with Alia Bhatt, and she heaped praises for her. Even her husband, Bharat, revealed that Alia is a chilled-out person who doesn't like to gossip. Bharat said:
"I love her vibe. She is very chilled out. No politics, she doesn’t like to gossip. So, a lot of similarities."
For those who don't know, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is the eldest daughter of Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor. It was in 2006, when Riddhima Kapoor got married to her longtime beau, Bharat Sahni, and she shifted to South Delhi. They also have a daughter, Samara Sahni. Coming to Riddhima's profession, she is a jewellery designer and has stayed away from the entertainment world for a long time. However, in 2024, she made her first appearance on the reality series, Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives Season 3.
