For a few months, rumours have been brewing that TV actress, Ridhima Pandit is dating cricketer, Shubman Gill.
Cricketer, Shubman Gill is one of the rising stars in Indian cricket. The young sportsman has already made several records, and many experts admire his skills. However, apart from his cricket career, Shubman's personal life has also been a topic of interest in the media. Some time back, rumours suggested that the young star was dating TV actress, Ridhima Pandit. Recently, Ridhima sat down for an interview with Filmygyan and shared her views.
Several rumours suggested that Ridhima Pandit was dating Shubman Gill discreetly, and the two were set to get engaged in a few months. But Ridhima denied all those rumours and revealed that she doesn't know Shubman Gill personally. At the same time, the actress said that she doesn't associate with the cricketer but admires him as a sportsperson. She was quoted as saying:
"First of all, I don't know him. But I think he's an amazing sports persona. But I don't know him."

Shubman Gill was previously linked with Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of the cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar. Later, some viral photos suggested he was dating actress, Sara Ali Khan. However, the actress denied that during her Koffee With Karan season 8 appearance.
In the same interview, Ridhima Pandit said that she will discuss this issue if she ever meets Shubman Gill in person. In addition, the actress expressed her admiration for the cricketer. Ridhima accepted that she found Shubman Gill, 'very, very cute.' Although, their relationship's rumours went viral quickly, Ridhima has always been quick to deny them.

When Ridhima previously addressed the rumours of her dating Shubman, many netizens called it a PR stunt. In an interview with Hindustan Times, the actress clarified that she could have done it long back if she had to do any such PR stunt. In her words:
“Main react karu hi kyu, jo sach hai mujhe pata hain. I don't want to give such perceptions importance because that would be stupidity. If I wanted to do all this, I would have done it in Bigg Boss. I could have easily stayed in the show and made a name by mingling with someone for publicity, but I didn't."
