Rishabh Pant had a near-fatal accident last year, which left many in shock. The famous cricketer first time opened up about his horrific car crash.
Famous Indian cricketer, Rishabh Pant had a near-death experience at the start of 2023. He had a simple plan of celebrating his New Year with his mother in his hometown, Roorkee. The Indian wicketkeeper-batter was driving from Delhi when his car crashed. He sustained serious injuries during the accident, and he is still recovering from them. In fact, he has not been able to play any match after his injuries.
In a recent video shared by Star Sports on their IG handle, Rishabh talked about his car accident and what his first thought was. The ace cricketer shared that he felt his time was over in the world right after his car crashed. However, luck was in his favour, and someone rushed him to a private hospital in Dehradun for primary treatment. Later, he was airlifted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, where he received further treatment. Rishabh was quoted as saying:
"First time aisa tha life mein, ho gaya time ab iss world mein. Itna bada ho sakta tha, ye cheej aapko bhi nahi pata tha. Itna accident hone ke baad bhi, I was alive. Something has saved me. Doctor bola yaar ki 16 to 18 months lagenge. Second life har kisi ko toh milti nahi hai."

On February 10 2023, Rishabh first time shared his recovery journey with his fans. He posted two pictures of himself walking with creches. He added that he has been looking forward and all set for getting stronger and better. The cricketer’s caption could be read as:
"One step forward, One step stronger, One step better."
It was on December 30, 2022, in the wee hours when Rishabh Pant’s car crashed into a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. As per reports, Rishabh Pant dozed off while driving and wasn't able to see the divider during the fog. It was a horrific accident, and Rishabh's escape is no less than a miracle.
