Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni have proved to be pillars of support for their parents, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor during this tough phase. Taking time out from their hectic schedules, Ranbir and Riddhima had spent quality time with their parents and have been a constant part of Rishi ji’s journey to recovery. In an interview, Neetu Kapoor had revealed how Ranbir Kapoor had reacted when he got to know about Rishi Kapoor’s health condition in 2018.
Neetu Kapoor revealed that when they got to know about Rishi Kapoor’s cancer, Ranbir Kapoor was travelling. When he came back, Neetu ji had made him sit and explained the situation, which left him teary-eyed. For an hour or so, Ranbir was in a denial state, but later, he composed himself and got down to deal with the situation. The very next day, he went to Delhi to pick his father, and the two then flew off to New York for Rishi ji’s treatment.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni often posts family pictures and inside sneak peeks into the life of the Kapoors and Sahnis on her Instagram handle. Sometime back from what it looked like, Riddhima was in a throwback mode, and the celebrity jewellery designer had taken to her Instagram stories to post two throwback pictures. One picture had a fit Rishi Kapoor celebrating birthday with granddaughter, Samara Sahni by her side. Looking at the picture, we had only wished to see this legendary actor all hale and hearty again! Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, in an interview, had shared the kind of father, Rishi Kapoor has been, “Growing up he was a big hero and really busy and we were busy with our lives. But he made it a point to be home when we were home which meant we could not go out after six! He would play games – he loved quizzing Ranbir and me to check our general knowledge. He was a very strict parent and we were scared of him but now I am glad he was.
