Before we take you further into the story, let us inform you that last month, Ritesh Deshmukh's wife and actress, Genelia Deshmukh was tested positive for COVID-19. She had revealed the same in an Instagram note, which could be read as "Hi. I was tested COVID positive three weeks ago. I was asymptomatic for 21 days. With God's grace, I tested COVID negative today. As much as I count my blessings that my battle with this disease has been much easier, but at the same time I must admit that these last 21 days in the isolation have been the most challenging for me to deal with. No amount of facetime and digital immersion can kill the evil of loneliness. I am happy to be back with my family and loved ones. Surround yourselves with love... that's true strength, and it's all one needs. Test early, eat healthy, stay fit, the only way to fight this monster. Love, Genelia."
On September 24, 2020, Riteish Deshmukh took to his Instagram handle and posted a glimpse of his 'artsy Thursday' with his kids, Riaan Deshmukh and Rahyl Deshmukh. The actor flaunted his son, Riaan's art on his Instagram story and wrote, "Art with kids Riaan." Check it out below:
Coming back to Genelia's fight against COVID-19, the actress had talked about the same in an interview with the Mid-Day. She had shared the whole story of contracting the coronavirus, and had said "We were in close contact with someone who had tested positive, so we did the tests as a safety measure. I was sure I hadn't contracted the virus as I didn't show any symptoms. So, it was surprising when I was the only one in the family to test positive. Though I remained asymptomatic, I tested positive again after 14 days. So, I was recommended another week of quarantine."
