While reports are abuzz that Riteish Deshmukh and his wife, Genelia, are expecting their third child, the actor cleared the air around the same.
Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh make for one of the cutest couples in Tinseltown. The much-in-love couple tied the knot on February 2, 2012, and since then, they have been swooning our hearts with their camaraderie. For some time now, rumours have been circulating in the media that Genelia and Riteish are expecting their third child together. However, now, Riteish put an end to all the ongoing speculations about his wife's pregnancy.
On September 11, 2023, Riteish Deshmukh took to his IG stories and reacted to his wife, Genelia Deshmukh's pregnancy rumours. He shared a screenshot of a social media post speculating about Genelia's pregnancy and claiming how fans spotted the latter's baby bump at a recent event. However, Riteish rubbished the rumours and shared that he wouldn't mind having more kids, but unfortunately, the rumours are false. Atop the picture, he wrote:
"I wouldn't mind having 2-3 more but unfortunately this is untrue."

For the unversed, it all started with Genelia Deshmukh and her husband, Riteish Deshmukh's latest public appearance. On September 9, 2023, the duo arrived hand-in-hand at the launch of a fashion store in Mumbai. For the event, Riteish opted for a white-coloured shirt teamed with blue pants, whereas his wife, Genelia, stole the show with her cutesy outfit. The actress looked gorgeous in a purple-coloured tiered mini dress. However, it was her bloated tummy that caught everyone's attention and ignited her pregnancy rumours.
As glimpses from the event surfaced on the internet, fans started speculating about Genelia's third pregnancy. The couple's fans expressed their happiness over the news, whereas a section of netizens slammed the couple for not paying heed to India's ever-growing population. While one of the social media users commented, "Is she pregnant?", another one asked, "Again pregnant?" Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza met for the test shoot of their debut film, Tujhe Meri Kasam, 20 years back. Initially, they started their journey as friends, which gradually turned into love. They dated each other for nine years, before tying the knot. Later, the lovebirds hopped onto their parenthood journey after they welcomed their son, Riaan on November 25, 2014.
