Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh have been particular in teaching proper manners to their kids. In a recent interview, the act answered why his kids always greet the paparazzi with folded hands.
Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh have been one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. The couple has been together for over two decades and never fails to praise each other at public events. Riteish and Genelia tied the knot on February 3, 2012, and have two sons, Riaan and Rahyl. The netizens have always praised the power couple for raising their kids with good values and manners. Recently, in an interview with Bollywoodlife, Riteish shared how he ensures to explain to his kids about manners and respect.
Paparazzi is always keen to capture star kids, which often irritates many. Some star kids even hide their faces or avoid acknowledging the media. However, Riteish and Genelia's sons, Riaan and Rahyl, have always been praised for greeting the media with a 'Namaste' gesture or folded hands. Riteish shared that initially, his kids were curious why the press click their pictures. So, he explained to them that it was because of his acting work and the boys hadn't done anything to earn it. As a result, they should greet the media with folded hands. He was quoted as saying:
"Paparazzi used to click us and our children asked us for the reason. First, they asked about me. So, I gave the reason for my acting experience over the years. I explained that paps feel that I am an actor with so many years of experience and hence, they should click me. Then they questioned themselves. So, I told them that you haven't done much till now to be clicked by the paps, but still, if they are clicking you, you should thank them with folded hands."

Earlier, during her film, Ved's promotions, Genelia spoke at an event about how she and her actor-husband, Riteish, have been particular about their children respecting others inside and outside their home. She revealed that even in their home, the children refer to the house staff as 'Mama' or 'Uncle.' In her words:
"It is very important to teach children the right thing, and not just the right thing buy human values are very important..Just being able to say thank-you and please is an extremely important thing to teach children there should be no compromise in giving respect."
When Riteish's sons began attending school, the media often followed and clicked their pictures. Riteish later gave an interview to Hindustan Times, and said that his kids are unique to him and that every kid should be special to his parents. However, he doesn't want the kids to feel special with other kids. The Housefull actor added that he doesn't want his kids to get any wrong aspirations because they get clicked.

On the work front, Riteish was last seen in the Marathi film, Ved, which he also directed. Currently, he is busy promoting his movie, Kakuda, co-starring Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem. The actor also has the films, Visfot and Raid 2 in his kitty.
