Last year on February 07, 2017, Bollywood biggie, Karan Johar welcomed his twins- Roohi Johar and Yash Johar through surrogacy. Since then, he has been sharing their cute pictures, adorable moments and his emotional journey as a father.

A similar emotional moment that Karan shared with his fans and well-wishers on Twitter is making netizens drool. And the moment is something every parent in this world wait for! And it’s the first time when your child calls you ‘papa’. Yes! Roohi Johar called Karan ‘papa’ for the first time and it was, in his own words, a mini-meltdown. Karan tweeted, “She said “Papa”! It’s time for my mini-meltdown!”
Isn’t this awwdorable? The best and the most special moment for any father in this world is when his child calls him ‘papa’. Recently, in a media interaction, when Karan was asked if one year as a father has changed him, he replied, “Well, it hasn't changed me, it just made me happier. If that's a change, then that's a welcome change. He further added, “It's given me a big reason to live with a certain amount of energy and vigour for the next three decades of my life. I can't wait to see my children grow up around me, with me and for me.”
Recently, Yash and Roohi had their first birthday bash on February 07, 2018 and of course, Karan, the proud father that he is, organised a birthday bash for his little babies. It was attended by Taimur Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Alia Bhatt, among others. He took to his Instagram and shared, “I can't thank the universe enough for giving my mother and me the most beautiful gift ever. Happy Birthday, Roohi and Yash. You are a blessing to us.”
On the International Women’s Day, on March 08 this year, Karan shared a very heartfelt message for Roohi. He wrote, “I was raised by a woman who had a strong mind, an independent mind and a solid soul. She taught me how to live a fearless life along with a strong sense of right and wrong! She also taught me the art of abandon! She made me the man I am, a man who is honoured to be raised by a woman of substance! Roohi my darling I hope I raise you to be just like your grandmother.”
Earlier, while talking to the PTI, Karan had shared his emotional state the first time he laid eyes on Yash and Roohi, “When I saw them for the first time, I didn't realise there were tears rolling down. I couldn't believe they were two big pieces of me who are staring at me, who are innocent, vulnerable. It was the most surreal overwhelming emotion I have ever experienced.”
On the professional front, Karan is producing Brahmastra, a fantastical trilogy starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
