Roopal Tyagi, who has been receiving some compliments for her weight loss, spilt the beans on what changes she brought into her life to achieve her goal.
Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke fame actress, Roopal Tyagi had proved her mettle in acting when she had entered the telly world in 2012. The plot that had told the story of two teenage girls who are poles apart from one another, had garnered accolades from the audience. Moreover, it was the star cast comprising Roopal Tyagi, Ankit Gera and Mahima Makwana that we all had loved. Roopal Tyagi had played the role of 'Gunjan' and had become a household name back then.
The chubby and bubbly girl, Roopal Tyagi has now undergone her weight loss journey and is getting complimented massively for the way she looks amazingly fitter now. Though it was not easy to achieve this transformation, the actress believed in maintaining consistency, which has kept her going. Finally, she was able to achieve her goal and now her weight loss journey is an inspiration for many.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Bigg Boss 9 contestant, Roopal Tyagi shared how the lockdown changed her life and brought motivation to start her weight loss journey. Her most important advice for everyone is that one should not give up hope and “have patience and be regular.” She also shared that a change in her attitude has somewhere helped her in achieving this transformation.
Going further in the interview, Roopal Tyagi revealed how losing weight also helped her in achieving body positivity. In her words, ''My purpose was fitness, being more active and agile. I lost 8 -9kilos in over a year and I feel I look younger. My hair and skin look better too. I changed my lifestyle which is why I got results. For me, the goal was not losing weight but about body positivity.''

Roopal Tyagi shared how she made the changes in her lifestyle and food habits, and that in turn helped her to achieve this physical transformation. The actress said, ''Before the pandemic, I felt I was not at my best, so I consciously made changes to my life, diet and workout. I practiced yoga and meditation. I even took a course Angamardana to understand yoga properly. I felt more energetic than before. In fact, I use to go to the gym for workout but didn’t feel this level of energy.''
Lastly, Roopal revealed that she learnt yoga in order to undergo her weight loss journey rather than relying on YouTube videos. She added, ''Often, people watch Youtube videos and practice yoga. But I wanted training from a professional. There are so many little things about posture and your body that a well trained professional can help you with which often online videos don’t. I kept up my workout regime and it got me through the pandemic. I was blessed that I was at home with family and got to make the most of the last one year.''

On the work front, Roopal Tyagi is now working as the lead actress in the television show, Ranju Ki Betiyaan.
