South India actor, Ram Charan and Jr NTR, who were recently seen together in the lead roles of SS Rajamouli's RRR, have known each other for several years. However, they were seen in the popular film, RRR and played exceptional characters on-screen. Now, in a recent interview, Ram Charan opened up about the family rivalry.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ram Charan was asked whether SS Rajamouli wanted to showcase his family rivalry to that with Jr NTR. To this, Ram mentioned that the concept of showing the real-life rivalry between the actor on-screen wouldn't have been wrong as the lead actors also had an initial smash between them. However, there isn't any competition between the two stars in their real lives and their rival families. Elaborating more on this, Ram said:
"Now that I’m thinking about it, yeah. Probably. Why not? I don’t think there’s any reason not to think that, but Mr. Rajamouli also wanted to share our very real bond off-screen during the scenes where we’re not rivals. I always had some apprehension that there would be competition about who’s going to do better and everything, but the professional rivalry never came into the picture between us."
