Coming back to the reports of Rubina’s pregnancy, in an interview with India Today, Rubina had talked about her pregnancy rumours that were doing rounds all over the internet some time back. The actress had said, "All these are just rumours. Currently, we are not thinking about it, but we surely would in the future. Thanks to the people who've congratulated us. And, if there is good news, we would surely share it with our fans, just like we've shared our ups and downs of life in the past."
The actress had also revealed the reason behind her and hubby, Abhinav Shukla's decision of going to her hometown. She had explained, "Since the lockdown began, I wanted to spend it with my dear ones under the open sky. Abhinav and I were thinking about going to Himachal for the last two-and-a-half months. Finally, we could make it. We took a flight to Ludhiana, and from there we travelled to Himachal via road."
Talking about the most important reason of being in villages at this time of season, Rubina Dilaik had said, "The biggest plus of being here is that our village, Chopal, comes under the green zone. It's the season of fruits, so we are spending our time farming under the open sky. It's all about living in the moment and reviving ourselves. It's quite relaxing and soothing for us."
In the end, the actress had also revealed that she had decided to spend this year with her family and husband, Abhinav for some mental peace. She had admitted, "I have dedicated this year to my family and relationship. I want to lead a basic life so that I stay connected to my roots. In an Instagram live chat with ETimes TV, Rubina had talked about spending lockdown with her husband and had said, "This period has been an intimate time with myself. I am really working towards getting to know myself and my relationship with Abhinav. I am giving my home a touch of my own. Can’t tell you how time flies away. I have been busier than ever. I used to think that shooting for 10-12 hours and then travelling for 3-4 hours is too much. But now I feel managing household duties are more difficult. Now I realise how grateful we should be to our mothers and our house-helps. This period has been an eye-opener."
