During her pregnancy, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla were seen sharing stunning glimpses from their babymoon in LA. However, now the actress revealed the reason behind their separate tours.
One of the most loved television couples, Rubina Dilaik and her husband, Abhinav Shukla, are enjoying the best phase of their lives- parenthood. They embraced parenthood for the first time on the auspicious occasion of Gurupurab, back on November 27, 2023, after they welcomed two princesses into their lives. They named their twin daughters, Edhaa and Jeeva. Although, Rubina and Abhinav haven't been sharing many pictures of their babies on their social media handles, the doting newbie mommy keeps opening up about her pregnancy and post-delivering experiences.
Now, as Rubina Dilaik posted a fresh new episode on her YouTube channel's chat show, Kisi Ne Bataya Nahi: The Mamacado Show, she opened up about her and her husband, Abhinav Shukla's separate babymoons during her pregnancy. She discussed about the madly-in-love duo's month-long babymoon in Los Angeles and explained why they opted for separate babymoons. Sharing how Abhinav and she likes different kinds of travelling, she shared:
“Babymoon, you enjoy what you want to enjoy. I will enjoy what I want to enjoy. For me, travelling is exotic travelling and he like adventure travelling. So Abhinav and I had our own babymoons. I had planned out my thing. I wanted to go to a concert, on a cruise, wanted to travel cities by road, try out different cuisines. So I chalked out an entire list. The idea wasn’t to do everything. The idea was the journey outwards begin inwards first. I wanted to decide a path for us (the babies)… this is how I love travelling. This is how independently I can travel. It’s like a connection. I have made this conscious effort to build this connection. Nobody told us this, but we can do things differently too.”

Further, Rubina added that although the babymoons were separated, she and Abhinav still found ways of spending quality time with each other. The actress revealed that they had talked so much about their future during that time, which they had never talked about previously during their courtship period or their marital bliss. She added:
“Travelling is one of the best tools that you can invest in. It’s not necessary to have a babymoon abroad. Step out, take time with your partner. We spoke so much about future in that trip that we didn’t speak so much during 9 years of courtship with 5 years of marriage. The idea is get out of your comfort zone and invest in yourself.”

A few days ago, taking to her IG handle, Rubina gave a sneak peek into her inspirational postpartum fitness journey. Initially, she shared a collage of her two pictures- one with her baby bump and the following one a few days after she began her fitness regime after delivering her kids. Rubina also shared a video consisting of various moments of her fitness routine, and along with it, she penned a long note explaining how she is extremely mindful of her body and knows its worth from the beginning. Further, she mentioned that her post-natal yoga began just within the 10th day after her C-section, she started a swimming session on the 15th day, and many more such events. Calling her body as her temple, Rubina penned:
"People laughed when I said, my body is my temple ( but it didn’t bother me) …….. Just because of this awareness, I could easily transition from This life transforming journey of my pregnancy into Postpartum as I was mindful about my body and its worth …….. Your body is what will carry you till your Last day on Earth, worship it ………( fast forward from November #2023 to January #2024 ) #rubinadilaik."
