Actress, Rubina Dilaik and her actor-husband, Abhinav Shukla, are one of the power couples of Tinseltown. The audience adores them, and since their camaraderie in the reality show, Bigg Boss 14, they have been showered with immense love. The doting husband, Abhinav, had also set some major husband goals on the show.
For the unversed, Rubina got married to her Choti Bahu co-star, Abhinav Shukla, on June 21, 2018. She had tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Shimla. The duo had met at a common friend's house during the Ganpati festival and had clicked instantly. Now, the beautiful actress shared how their love story had evolved, and how she had to cook up stories to meet him.

In a recent interview with radio host Siddharth Kannan, Rubina Dilaik talked about how she had to go the extra mile to woo her husband, Abhinav Shukla. She said, "I would roam around his neighbourhood." She also recollected the excuses that she had to make to catch a glimpse of Abhinav.
Recounting on the excuses she used to make while meeting him, she said, "I just wrapped up my shoot’, ‘I was just crossing by your lane’, ‘I just thought of dropping by’. He is like, ‘No, I am at the gym.’ Then, calculate karti thi, ‘achcha, do ghanta lagayega’ ‘I just came for Nature’s Basket, I just thought we could go for coffee.’"

Despite all her efforts, Abhinav Shukla would somehow give some reason, and they could not meet, and that made Rubina Dilaik think that she had wasted another day of meeting him. Stating the same, she said, "Then he would say, ‘I am out with my friends.’ Phir aisa lagta tha ‘hey bhagwan, aaj ka din phir waste ho gaya’. Phir next day aur chakkar."
Going further in the interview, Rubina shared that she used to get rid of her driver and drive herself, even if she did not like it as she could not tell the driver that she was stalking Abhinav. She revealed that she also used to wait below his house to 'spy' if he was telling the truth about not being at home. She told the host, “Maine bohot papad bele.”
