According to the Hindu calendar, Rubina Dilaik's twin daughters, Jeeva and Edha have turned 1. Take a look at their adorable pictures as they deck up in traditional attires.
Bigg Boss 14 winner, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla were blessed with twins on November 27, 2024. However, the actress is already celebrating the first birthday of her twin daughters on November 15, 2024. Surprising as it sounds, Rubina revealed that her twin babies have already turned one, according to the Hindu shastra.
Rubina often shares cute pictures of her baby girls on her Instagram handle. She is on cloud nine as her twins have turned one, and she posted many pictures. Jeeva and Edha looked the cutest as dolls in a colourful kurta and tiny bindi. Rubina wore a purple kurta with a loose dupatta on her head. She was carrying her baby girl in one of the pictures. Jeeva and Edha also posed with their grandmother and papa, Abhinav. Rubina had captioned the birthday post as:
"2023 mein Hamari Deviyon ka janam Hindu Shastr k anusar, Dev Diwali aur Guru Purnima k shubh din par hua tha, Edhaa aur Jeeva ka aaj Pehla Janamdin hai".

When Rubina and Abhinav were blessed with their twin baby girls, they announced the news to the world with a sweet post. The Shakti actress mentioned that she and Abhinav had four names shortlisted, two for girls and two for boys. They decided on the names quite early on because they wanted unique names that held deep meaning. The couple had already done their homework.
Rubina opened up to actress Pankhuri Awasthy in her podcast Kisine Bataya Nahi about the challenges she had faced in the journey of motherhood. She mentioned taking counselling as she felt that she was heading towards postpartum depression. The actress opened up about getting insomnia. In her words:
"I am confessing this, in the first 10-15 days, I couldn't sleep at night as both babies woke up one after another, due to which I was unable to even go to the washroom. I was in pain, couldn't eat or drink, and there were so many changes in my body. There was one time, at around 2:30, Mumma used to sleep with me and we had told Abhinav to come and help us when I couldn't take it anymore and if the baby needed top feeding. As at that hour, Mumma would change the diapers and we were trying to set a routine for them."
Rubina, in the podcast, had further told Pankhury that she used to wake up around 2.30-3 to feed Edhaa. She used to hear Jeeva crying and used to feel angry. The actress felt helpless in the situation. She used to make Edhaa leave the latch and used to keep her down. Remembering the situation, Rubina said:
"I made Edhaa leave the latch and kept her down. My mother saw it and yelled at me 'pagal ho rahi hai kya?' and I told her 'shayad, koi nahi samjhega'. I then told Abhinav to take me out as I wasn't feeling good and leaving Edhaa in the middle of feeding wasn't a good side. Abhinav then asked me what I wanted to eat and I asked for something sweet with lots of ghee. We made halwa with ghee."
