A saree is a magical staple that can turn a girl-next-door into an artist’s muse! While dresses and shorts give a touch of freedom, saree brings out our true beauty and elegance. And no matter how modern we become, saree holds a special place in all our heart and we dream of draping it just like our moms. Television actress, Rucha Hasabnis, who got famous as Rashi in Saath Nibhana Sathiya, is a self-proclaimed saree lover. The 31-year-old starlet gave fashion inspiration to many in the show. In a throwback interview, she had talked about the same and had said, “I love wearing Sarees and I know how to drape a Saree which I learned seeing my mother.”
On April 10, 2019, Rucha took to her Instagram handle to share her love for handloom sarees. She posted a couple of pictures, wherein, we can see her dressed in a beautiful red saree with golden boti work. She finished off her look with hair tied in a bun and accentuated it with gajra. Along with the pictures, she wrote, “#regal ... Indian saree fan... Always”. Check out her pictures below:
For those who don’t know, Rucha exchanged wedding vows with her longtime beau, Rahul Jagdale in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony on January 26, 2015. In an interview with The Times of India, Rucha admitted that it was a conscious decision to get married on a national holiday. She had shared, “My husband Rahul and I are extremely patriotic at heart, so even when our families suggested other dates for the marriage, we chose January 26. She also talked about her memorable marriage, and had revealed, “A lot of people tell me that when they get married they are so nervous, that they don’t realise when the whole ceremony got over. But I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the wedding ceremony — from the puja, where the pujari explained the meaning of each and every vow and the pheras, and each ritual in the ceremony. It was a learning experience.”
Rucha had left television after getting married, and had stated, “I am helping my husband who is a builder and we have come up with a new project on this Gudi Padwa. I was very busy with this project and now as we have launched the project, I would like to share it with all my fan.” She had further added, “Frankly speaking, I won't be coming back to TV now as shooting consumes your entire day and after my marriage, I prefer to stay with my family.
