Television actress, Rakhi Vijan is popularly known for her stint as 'Sweety' in the show, Hum Paanch. Over the years, Rakhi Vijan has proved her mettle in acting in the shows, Dekh Bhai Dekh, Banegi Apni Baat, Naagin 4, in films like Golmaal Returns, and she had also participated in the famous reality show, Bigg Boss 2.
On the personal front, Rakhi Vijan had tied the knot with actress, Raveena Tandon's brother, Rajiv Tandon. However, the two had ended their decade long marriage in 2010. Now, in a recent interview with a leading daily, Rakhi opened up about the new man in her life, who she has been dating for 7 years. She also talked about her wedding plans and revealed that she's going to get married soon.

In an interview with ETimes TV, Rakhi Vijan opened up about why she took a break from work and shared that she had wanted to get over her broken marriage. She also mentioned that she's not in contact with her ex-hubby, Rajiv Tandon and ex sister-in-law, Raveena Tandon. In her words:
"I was not in a very great shape when my marriage didn't work out. I needed time to get back. Any kind of break-up is heartbreaking. I am not in touch with my ex-husband, Rajiv Tandon and ex sister-in-law, Raveena Tandon. I believe that, in such circumstances, you need to move on."
Rakhi also talked about finding love again in life and shared the details of first meeting with the man of her dreams, Fareed Karachiwalla. She revealed that she is soon going to tie the knot with Fareed and added that they are waiting for a year to pass by, post her father's demise. She said:
"A common friend introduced us. Both he and I have a past. We decided that we'll go with the flow and decide later if we want to get married. Now, we have decided to marry. In fact, we were supposed to marry last year but my dad passed away. So yeah, we are going to marry soon. Probably December 2022, but the month is not fixed. It could be a month or two later after that. We are waiting for one year to go by, after my father's demise."

Rakhi further added how she is blessed to have a great human being like Fareed in her life, especially after her life had become so messy. She also spoke about how post marriage, she will be shuttling between Mumbai and Pune to spend time with each other. She concluded:
"He is a builder. He is the sole supplier to eggs in Mumbai. He has a great farmhouse in Pune. I am blessed to have such a great human being in my life, especially after the fact that my life had become so messy. He is a fabulous person. He has a house in Mumbai and so he too often comes to Mumbai, especially on weekends."
Well, we can't wait for Rakhi Vijan to announce her wedding with the man of her dreams!
