Rupali Ganguly's step-daughter, Esha Verma, who has been waiting to be acknowledged by her father, Ashwin K Verma, finally opened up about her viral post and claimed of the actress ruining her life.
Rupali Ganguly has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The actress is already involved in a couple of controversies due to her professional life, as many of her co-actors are coming forward and opening up about her way of working on sets. Amidst it, a post by her stepdaughter, Esha Verma, has gone viral, in which she claims that Rupali ruined her life and had an extramarital affair with her father when she was just three.
Esha even called Rupali Ganguly cruel and controlling. Recently, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Esha still stood by her words and accused Rupali Ganguly of her parents' separation. The 26-year-old Esha currently lives in New Jersey. She opened up about the resurfaced post.
Esha expressed that she is overwhelmed that her side of the story is finally brought to light. She even claimed that nothing is better between her and her step-mother, Rupali. She was quoted as saying:
"I've been seeing it going viral and it’s definitely overwhelming but I'm glad it’s being brought to light."
When Esha was questioned about her current relationship dynamics with Rupali Ganguly, and whether they are on good terms, she denied it and called the actress just the 'mother of her brother'. It means Esha considers Rupali and Ashwin's son her brother. She said, "Not really, there’s no relationship between the two of us. She’s just the mother of my brother, and that’s about it."
Meanwhile, Ashwin K Verma acknowledged Esha Verma as his daughter. However, he also added that Esha is hurt by the pain of her parents' separation. He shared that Rupali knows about his past marriages, his two daughters and how he cares a lot for them. He wrote:
"I do have two daughters from previous relationships, something Rupali and I have always been open about that I care a great deal about. I understand that my younger daughter still holds a lot of hurt about the dissolution of her parent's relationship, as divorce is a difficult experience that can greatly affect and harm the children of that marriage."
Ashwin claimed that he understands his younger daughter, Esha, still suffers from the dissolution of her parents' relationship, and it harms the mind of a child. Ashwin shared that there were a lot of irreconcilable differences that ended his second marriage, and it had nothing to do with Rupali. He concluded the note by writing:
"But marriages end for many reasons, and my relationship with my second wife had multiple challenges that led to our separation—challenges that were between she and I and that had nothing to do with any other person. I only want the best for my children and my wife, and it saddens me to see anyone being pulled into cycles of negativity by the media."
What do you think about Esha's side of the story and her calling out her stepmother, Rupali, for ruining her happy family?
