Further, Saba shared a long IG note and revealed that she suddenly stopped getting voice-over projects in the last two years. Saba revealed that she has been a voice-over artist for over a decade and a half. It is one of the three careers she chose for herself. She has worked in many advertisements. Saba also added that it is one of the most rewarding jobs, creatively plus monetarily. However, she was left confused when she suddenly stopped getting work.
Saba, who is known for calling a spade, a spade, further revealed how she directly asked one of the directors about the matter. However, his reply left her shocked. Saba revealed that the person told her that they thought she wouldn't want to work on voice-over anymore as she was dating a successful actor. Saba wrote:
"This is what he said, "Oh we just thought you wouldn't like to do something like a voice over anymore, given. Well, you can imagine what was implied."
Saba expressed her anger in her Instagram stories, sharing how the amazing person with a broad mindset thought that she wouldn't want to work in a high-paying, respectable job just because she had started dating a renowned actor. Saba further stated that she lost a whole career as people thought that she didn't need to work anymore.
Concluding her emotional letdown, Saba mentioned that she still has to put food on her table and doesn't want to lose a career because of people's presumptions. She highlighted the fact that she hasn't quit and would love to work on voice-overs. She wrote:
"I still gotta put food on my table you guys. So losin a whole career because of someone's presumptuous ignorance really hurts. So again I haven't quit, all ye makers of ads."
Talking about Saba's career, she started her journey as a theatre actress. She is also a talented musician. The 38-year-old singer has given her voice to the super hit track, Sab Farzi, in Shahid Kapoor's series, Farzi.
