The twelfth season of the hit television reality show, Bigg Boss is still one of the most memorable seasons. The contestants, who had entered into the Bigg Boss house in that season were incredibly talented, controversial, and had a surprise element. Some of the notable names included Karanvir Bohra, Dipika Kakar, Nehha Pendse, Jasleen Matharu, Anup Jalota, and Roshmi Banik. The show also bought a lot of fame to the Khan sisters, Saba and Somi during their respective time on the show. Now, recently Somi and Saba’s sister, Sana Khan got married in a big-fat nikah ceremony in Jaipur. The pink city was painted red with a beautiful wedding, as there were a lot of celebrities from the glamour world. Also in the ceremony, we saw a small reunion of some of the stars of Bigg Boss 12 such as Deepak Thakur, Urvashi Vani, and Roshmi Banik alongside Manu Punjabi.
On March 2, 2020, Somi and Saba Khan took to their Instagram handles and had shared a lot of beautiful pictures and stunning videos from their sister, Sana Khan’s nikah. Talking about the outfits of the two sisters, Somi looked stunning in her shimmery gown and Saba donned a lehenga with a crafty dupatta. From the guests, Deepak Thakur has shared some adorable pictures from the wedding and wrote a small caption which can be read as “Shadi Special Foto with all the Khan, in Pink city Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.” Another renowned celebrity, who has shared the pictures was Roshmi Banik as she captioned the pictures with “Created beautiful memories together that will be remembered for the rest of our lives.” Take a look. Aren’t they looking beautiful? Well, in a conversation with The Times of India, Roshmi Banik has revealed her emotions on the wedding. She said, “I was always excited to attend the big fat Rajasthani wedding. Yahaan pe har cheez royal way mein celebrate hoti hai. I want my wedding to be a royal affair, too, just the way weddings in Rajasthan are. Saba and Somi have been close friends of mine. After the show was over, we connected well with each other. It didn’t even feel like it was my first visit to Jaipur as all of them were nice and warm to me.” Deepak Thakur has also shared his feelings on the whole wedding. He said, “I had a great time at the wedding. We continued our friendship even outside the house and it was great fun to be a part of the celebrations.”
Well, a lot of focus was on the pictures of Deepak Thakur and Somi Khan as the two had a romantic history while their time in the Bigg Boss house. Getting a dip into the past, Deepak Thakur had entered into the show with his jodidar, Urvashi Vani. However, after a twist on the show, the jodis were wrecked and from thereon everyone has been playing their game. After this, the gap between Deepak and Urvashi had increased and Deepak is the only member of the ‘Happy Club’ consisting of Romil, Surbhi, Somi and Rohit. But what has caught all the attention at that time was the fact that love could be seen brewing in Deepak’s heart for Somi.
During one of the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes, Salman Khan had played a game with the contestants wherein he had shared some statements said by the contestants and one had to guess who might have said it. One amongst many other statements was, “Deepak bahut gaana gaata rehta hai. Bahut ghoorta hai mujhe. Main bahut uncomfortable feel karti hu.” Can anyone guess who said this? Well, it was said by Somi Khan. However, Deepak went to Somi to clear his intentions and had explained that he likes her a lot. Hearing this, Somi had informed him that she only thinks of him as a good friend and nothing more than that. However, it was great to see them together on good terms at Sana Khan’s wedding.
