This Sabyasachi Bride Opted For A Green 'Lehenga' And Royal Jewellery For Her D-Day

Our bride of the week, Chandni Sehgal, ditched the crimson red 'lehenga' and donned a green lehenga with low-cut 'choli' from Sabyasachi.

The dynamics of the Indian wedding world have evolved over the years. Therefore, millennial brides are trying to implement out-of-the-box ideas on their wedding day. Be it the selection of their ensemble, its colour, or decor, they want everything hatke. And some brides even break the notion of wearing crimson red on their D-Day and experiment with all the colours of the rainbow.

And to add a feather in the cap, at their lush wedding, the brides wear pretty pinks to pastel blues and everything in between. The bride’s outfit grabs everyone’s eyeballs, and the modern-day brides surely know how to make heads turn.

Over the years, brides have been ditching the crimson red lehengas and are opting for shades like green, blue, aqua, and purple. And same is the case with our bride of the week, Chandni Sehgal, who kicked off the preconceived notions of wearing a red lehenga, and chose to wear a green lehenga on her wedding day.

Meet the bride, Chandni Sehgal

Our Sabyasachi bride, Chandni Sehgal donned a sea green lehenga with red floral prints on it, on her D-Day. The gorgeous ensemble had minimalistic work on the border of its lehenga and low-cut choli, which gave her attire a royal look. She completed her look with two net dupattas with gota-patti work on it. She wore one dupatta on her head, and the other one was draped on her body.

The bride had kept her look minimal with her hair tied up in a bun adorned with pink and white flowers. She had opted for a golden choker neckpiece with matching earrings, and a matha-patti. On the other hand, the groom had opted for a pastel-coloured sherwani and a printed floral turban, which had complemented his bride's ensemble.

Chandni's subtle makeup with kohled eyes had accentuated her look. The gorgeous bride had completed her look with chooda and double-layered golden kaleere. The delightful moments from the wedding were beautifully captured by a team of photographers from The Wedding Saga.
