And B-town’s favourite couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have redefined the meaning of true love all over again with their relationship which is more than a decade old! Deepika and Ranveer’s epic love story is a perfect case of what we call opposite attracts! It all started when Ranveer first saw Deepika at the Zee Cine Awards in Macau and he had felt the sparks in her eyes and butterflies in his heart. In an interview, reminiscing about their first meeting, Ranveer had said, “I almost went flat!” And when a Twitter fan had asked him how he remembered what she was wearing, the actor wrote, “How can one possible forget that sight?”
The world knew that they share a bond that is above friendship, and it all turned into reality when they tied the knot on November 14-15, 2018, in Italy. And we still haven’t gotten over Deepika’s perfect hint of traditional and modern bridal trousseau designed by the Tinseltown favourite designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. They even continued to opt for this exquisite designer wear, even after their wedding, for various events. Recently, in an interview with IDiva, Sabyasachi opened up about Deepika and she intimidates him. He stated, “She scares me. Deepika scares me because of the fact that I think she is so organised that you know, I pride myself in being organised, but she is so meticulous, organised and so composed about everything that she does that I look like a rookie.” He further talked about the intimate wedding of DeepVeer at Lake Como, and shared, “With Ranveer, there's no choice but to have fun. He just makes sure that you participate.”
Talking about Deepika and Ranveer’s married life, the two have left a huge impact on each other. In an interview, Ranveer had revealed, “I wake up on time, I eat on time, I go to work on time, come back on time, in short, I've become a good boy now.”
In a post-marriage interview with GQ magazine, Deepika had talked about Ranveer, and had said, “Ranveer is vulnerable, extremely emotional, very intelligent; childlike at times. That's not to say that his irrepressible energy isn't him, it's very him. He's a real people's person, but there's a quiet side to him too.”
Deepika had also opened up about the relationship she shares with Ranveer in an interview with Pinkvilla. She had shared, “Over a period of time because it's the small things that he did and the little things that he said which made me believe and feel more and more that he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. The foundation of our relationship is just solid friendship and for any successful relationship, that's very essential. It started off on that note right from the beginning and over the years that we have dated, it only became stronger and stronger.
