Sachin Tendulkar shared pictures with her parents and brothers from his teenage days on his IG handle to celebrate Global Day of Parents. He penned an emotional note!
It is said that God cannot be everywhere, thus he made parents. Our parents are the ones, who sacrifice everything to give us the best. From neglecting their needs to loving us no matter what, parents are God in every sense. They need to be cherished every day and loved unconditionally. As it is Global Parents Day today, i.e., on June 1, 2021, Sachin Tendulkar got emotional remembering his parents’ contribution to his life.

Sachin Tendulkar is treated as God in India and he enjoys a huge fan base. He had started his career in cricket at the mere age of 16 on November 15, 1989, and was handed his maiden Test cap. He has set a record for being the youngest Indian ever to do so and is lovingly called ‘Master blaster’ by his fans. In the entire span of his cricketing career, he had achieved various milestones, owing to his consistency, discipline, focus and humble nature. He is fondly known as ‘God of Cricket’ and his fans worship him. While his fans worship him like a God, Sachin Tendulkar worships his parents as it was because of their support that ‘Sachin Tendulkar’ became ‘The Sachin Tendulkar.’
On the occasion of Global Parents Day 2021, Sachin Tendulkar took to his IG handle and shared two unseen monochrome pictures with his parents and brothers. In the first picture, we can see Sachin sitting in between his parents, Rajni Tendulkar and Ramesh Tendulkar with his brothers, Ajit and Nitin standing at the back. The picture looked like from some old photoshoot session. In the second picture, Sachin and his brother can be seen sitting in the foreground with their parents sitting behind them. Sharing the pictures, Sachin mentioned how it is parents’ love that remains whole even after being divided among children. He wrote, “Parents’ love always remains whole no matter how many times it is divided among their children. Forever grateful to my parents for everything they've done for me & my siblings. #globaldayofparents.”
On June 1, 2020, Sachin had taken to his Instagram handle and had penned a note for his parents on Global Day of Parents. He had posted a throwback monochrome picture with them from his young days. Alongside it, he had written, "The unconditional love, support and attention that our parents showered on us as we were growing up laid our foundation as individuals. In my life too, the support and guidance from my parents helped me become the person I am today. In these challenging times, our parents need us more than ever. It’s our responsibility to take care of them & even more so now during these tough times."

Sachin had lost his father in 1999 and is attached to his mother and often we get to see glimpses of the bond he shares with her. On the occasion of his 47th birthday, the cricketer had shared that he had started his day by taking ashirwaad from his mother. He had posted a picture and had written, "Sharing a photo of Ganpati Bappa that she gifted me. Absolutely priceless." On Mother's Day 2020, Sachin had shared a note for his adorable 'aai' and his childhood picture. The caption for the post could be read as "You are AAI to me because, besides everything else you are Always Amazing & Irreplaceable. Thank you for everything you have done for me."
