He is also one of the best-selling authors, whose famous works include Inner Engineering: A Yogi's Guide to Joy and Karma: A Yogi's Guide to Crafting Your Destiny. Recently, Sadhguru was spotted at an event, and it was his super expensive watch that grabbed the attention.
Sadhguru recently launched his free meditation app, Miracle Of Mind, which crossed millions of downloads within just hours of its launch. At the launch event of the app, Sadhguru was seen sporting an expensive watch. In a video that went viral, he was seen taking centre stage. For the day, he opted for a blue-toned shirt, which he teamed with a white dhoti, printed shawl, and a blue turban. Well, it was his classy watch that grabbed the attention. He was seen sporting a Cartier Pasha De Cartier watch, which is worth lakhs.
Sadhguru's Cartier Pasha De Cartier watch is from the Pasha series and appeared in the Cartier collections in 1943. The watch is round in shape and has four Arabic numerals. The steel case is water-resistant, and the watch features a screw-down crown cap attached to the case by a small chain, while the blue-steeled hour hands inside the dial are in the shape of a sword. The watch is 41mm in size and has automatic mechanical movement. The crown of the watch is made of synthetic spinels, which is a kind of gemstone. Well, the watch that Sadhguru wore comes with a whopping price tag. As per the official site, it costs around 11,100 Euros, which in INR is around Rs. 10,17,881.
As soon as the video of Sadhguru made rounds on social media, netizens rushed to the comment section to drop their opinions about the expensive watch. The spiritual leader's fans slammed those who mocked Sadhguru and reminded them of the notable work he does, which could never be defined by what he wears and is far more than that. Some said that it can be gifted, while others shared that the notion of spirituality doesn't lie in the fact of what someone owns or wears.
One user penned, "Can we pls stop gossiping about what he wears what he eats etc instead of focusing on his teachings.." Another user wrote, "I didn't see anything wrong in it." A third user commented, "You can have wealth, luxury, and still be deeply rooted in your spiritual journey."
It was last year when Sadhguru attended the pre-wedding soiree of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. During the same, he was also seen sporting a super-expensive watch from the brand, Cartier. Reportedly, the watch that Sadhguru wore at Anant and Radhika's pre-wedding soiree had a budget of Rs. 6.5 lakhs.
