In a recent conversation, Saif Ali Khan discussed his relationship with the paparazzi and clarified his bedroom remark to them.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are hailed as the power couple of Bollywood and are the coolest parents to the kids, Taimur and Jeh. Both their children enjoy a huge fandom just like their star parents and are paparazzi’s favourite. We have often seen shutterbugs stationed outside the couple’s home to capture them.
However, Saif has often been vocal about keeping his kids away from media and giving them a normal life. Saif himself has quite a few unpleasant episodes with the paparazzi. The most famous one was the time when he asked the paps to come to their bedroom. In the recently held India Today Conclave, Saif Ali Khan opened up about his bedroom remark.
When the actor was asked to elaborate on his statement, Saif stated it's weird that when the camera is on, you never know what is going on behind the camera. Elaborating more on the same, he stated:
“This was a time when we were coming back from a party late at night. There were about 25 cameras that walked inside the gate, into the compound, into the lobby of the building. And so the next step was the bedroom. So I did say, why don’t you guys come in. If you looks something 10 times, it seems really bad.”
In the same conversation, Saif Ali Khan also spoke about his equation with the paparazzi and stated that half the time, movie stars are themselves calling these guys. Calling it a symbiotic relationship, Saif said:
“When I am playing with the kid and I do not want to be photographed, I might look grumpy. But when I am all dressed up, it suits me to have my pictures taken by them. They are not very intrusive, I think they understand, they are quite polite. When they chase a kid who is in a car, it gets a little frightening.”

In 2023, Saif Ali Khan was coming back to his home along with his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, after attending Malaika Arora’s mother, Joyce’s birthday party. Kareena looked stunning in a little black dress, while Saif kept it casual in a kurta and pyjama. However, as photographers clicked their pictures, Saif got upset with the constant clicks. In a video shared online, the Dil Chahta Hai actor can be heard saying:
“Ek kaam kariye, humaare bedroom mein aa jaaiye.”
